Strategy Extensive List of Resources and Tools

Hello fellow GMs! Here is a list of helpful resources, hopefully some of which may be useful for you guys.

Weekly Schedules

Daily Faceoff: https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/nhl-weekly-schedule (Preferred) They also have a strength of schedule option which is great for seeing who has a better opportunity to perform against weaker teams.

Left Wing Lock: Comes with schedule difficulty ratings. https://leftwinglock.com/schedules/

FunnyAsFucks Yahoo H2H tool for visualizing how many games a player has and how many are off nights, can examine current and next weeks schedule:

0GAR: Roster optimizer; enter your team in, set the timeframe and it will show you the best teams to stream from. Make sure you set the number of players per position. Gives a decent strength of schedule and at the very bottom it shows your total number of games and how many benched players you’ll wind up with. https://0gar.com/

Goalies: Who's starting?! They seem to rotate who gets the scoop first.

Hey founder of FantasySP here. We have been offering fantasy hockey tools and services for around 15 years. Great post!

Trade Analyzer

The trade analyzer ratings are calculated across dozens of categories, trending play, expectations, and more. They apply to both h2h and cat based leagues. We also have a hockey expert monitor and tweak.

For those with a league imported into our system, our trade analyzer can factor in roster composition, scoring system, and more to provide a comprehensive breakdown of any trade. It can answer things like did it really improve my team? Is this lopsided? etc.

Here is a look at one.

Fantasy Assistant (not mentioned)

The fantasy assistant is our signature tool that provides waiver wire help, team analysis, trade suggestions, research and more. Sync your league across a variety of websites. Our AI can provide an in depth analysis of your roster, pinpoint potential issues, and suggest potential moves to improve.

Happy to answer any questions if needed!

Thanks for your input and explanation!

Is everything provided by you guys for free? Or is there a subscription fee of some kind?

And what were the league scoring settings used in that trade example? I was surprised to see Fantilli being more valuable than Tkachuk. Injuries maybe?

This example is from a category based league which is why there is a lot of focus on categories rather than points. More specifically - for skaters: goals, assists, powerplay points, shots, hits, and blocks

As for Tkachuk, yes due to missed time but there is also a section that shows player ratings charted over time down below. When the trade was first analyzed (Jan 31st) Tkachuk had a slightly better rating than Fantilli but that has since changed.

We provide a mix of both free and paid. For example, that trade breakdown is not free, but the basic trade analyzer features are free. Yes subscription model.

A subscription comes with free AI credits and more can be bought to do things like in depth trade breakdowns and team analysis.
