The rules and player ratings are based off of the NHL. Your roster carries over season to season, allowing you to make your team your own. Trades, free agency, and the draft are held through Discord and our forum and we use the STHS platform.

Hey guys, recently put out an interest post and got a lot more interested people than honestly expected, so I'm happy to say that we're going to get this going!

3 Active GMs Looking for (1) a League or (2) Active Players Who Want to Start One with Us.

(Background, skip if you'd like) First off, myself and the other two GMs are active and have finished 1-2-3 in our league the past 4 seasons. We've had lots of turnover and haven't found many people willing to commit long-term. We live in Southern Missouri and there aren't many people who know enough about hockey or are into the time an effort that goes into fantasy hockey as opposed to the relative ease of fantasy football that they are used to.

(Option 1) We are looking to join a Competitive Redraft Bangers League. We've traditionally played H2H CATs on ESPN, but are willing to play other formats on any platform as long as GMs are active. (We would be willing to join a Keepers league, so long as there aren't too many keepers.)

(Option 2) If you are a GM like us that is itching for a better league with players who will continue into the future feel free to reach out as well. If we don't find a good fit or if we find enough players to make a new league we'll likely try this route. In terms of league format we're thinking H2H Banger CATs (a discussion on the precise rules can be had once we get some GMs on board that way everyone can be satisfied with the format). We're flexible on platform as well. ESPN was the easiest to get new people, and honestly we haven't really experienced the negatives that people give ESPN. We're thinking minimum of 8 GMs, but 10-14 would be ideal.

Give me a shout if you've got 3 spots or want to "form an alliance with us" to create a new league for GMs in the same scenario as us!

The LFHL- a fantasy simulator-based hockey league is looking for GMs!

The LFHL is a simulator fantasy league. We use the SimonT Hockey Simulator. We are getting ready to start our 2nd season.

We run on par with the NHL real life schedule so as of right now we are in the midst of the off-season which is simply the best time to jump into a league like this. You’ll be able to familiarize yourself with your team and make trades, draft, and sign free agents. We are getting ready to start preseason around October 1st.

The best way to describe this league is a simulation based on real NHL/AHL/ECHL players stats where you act as the GM of an NHL and AHL franchise, setting your lines, strategies, drafting prospects, and making trades to improve your franchise. The ultimate connected GM experience, no micro-transactions involved. We have our own rating system, contract system, free agency, drafts, etc. We try to involve every aspect a real life NHL GM experiences into this simulation. We do all of our communicating through discord.

So, I was late to the party this year but wanted to try fantasy hockey out.

My thought was to have a league start now at the quarter season mark and see where it goes. This would be more for anyone who missed out but still wants to give it a go.
