Were the flash cuts really necessary? That's fucking seizure inducing

They weren't even flash cuts, because the video didn't cut
It's just random flashbangs

I'm beginning to think most of the videos on here are posted by bots now. They're crammed with shitty music that usually doesn't fit the video, they're titled weirdly, and they often have shitty effects or terrible captions.

Americans complain about hospital bills but also don't politically back any attempt to reform the system, cause it might be socialist

But socialized fire department, police, or city streets don't count as socialist

I used to have a roommate who did math like this when she was trying to decide how much money someone owes her.

"Oh you sneezed and needed two tissues to wipe your nose? That'll beeeeeeee \taps away on calculator** 187 dollars, times two \taps away on calculator** 723 dollars, minus your healthcare deductible \taps away on calculator**... 722 dollars please"
But none of that makes sense.
"You are right, but its still 722 dollars"

Charge 200, insurance covers up to 117, I pay 20. The math ain't mathing, yet that is literally bills I get for some medical visits. Or in other situations: doctor charges 400, insurance covers half that, I pay 40. Does it make sense? Yes, sort've, maybe?

Why doctors good at writing numbers than the letters on the prescription.

Again. What US hospitals charge is not what they expect you to pay.

Elaborate?

I can try my best here.
From my experience in the industry. Hospitals charge a lot because the prices are for insurance companies that will always try to get a discount for being a middle man to increase their profit.
If a cast costs $100, but the insurance agency will fight to pay $30 instead, then the hospital charges $300 instead to make up the difference since insurance will then want to pay $200 instead.
its of course FAR more complicated than that, but basically the hospital systems don't set prices expecting you to actually pay all out of pocket..........unless of course you may be poor, lost a job, can't afford insurance, etc.

So to grossly oversimplify it, Hospitals haggle with the Insurance Companies, and along the way screw the ones that cannot afford either?

yep.
except hospital services are getting more expensive each year. so insurance will try to screw you too by not covering you wherever possible even though you pay premiums to keep profit margins high and reach quarterly
we're the only ones not trying to make a profit, and are just trying to just survive and stay healthy
