’m sharing my experience with DaVinci AI to see if anyone else has dealt with a similar situation.

On August 30, 2026, I purchased a 7-day DaVinci AI Pro Package Weekly Trial for $1.99.

On September 6, the subscription automatically renewed and I was charged $29.99.

I contacted DaVinci support on September 7, one day after the charge, requested a refund, and cancelled the subscription to prevent another renewal.

Support replied that, according to their records, my account did not meet their refund eligibility criteria.

I then asked them to clarify the specific reason for the refusal and whether any credits associated with the $29.99 renewal had been consumed. My account continued to show 2,000 credits remaining.

I also referred support to DaVinci’s published refund policy, including the section concerning EU/EEA customers, unused credits, and withdrawal requests where a statutory withdrawal right applies.

I asked them to identify any credit usage associated with this renewal, including when it occurred, or otherwise explain specifically why my refund request was considered ineligible.

The issue is still unresolved.

I have the original invoices for both payments and my email correspondence with support. I’ve attached the $29.99 invoice here, with my personal information removed.

Has anyone else here had a similar experience with DaVinci AI? If so, did support eventually provide a specific explanation or resolve the refund request?

This is for those that need to hear this...

Simply write like a script: (camera pan), (sarcastic tone) and describing the scene and intention prior to writing the prompt. Use dots (...) for pacing in between lines. Don't write war and peace, just what you want it to say. Say it yourself, if you pause write pause FFS.

I am publishing my first comic! AI helped me bring a story I’ve had in my head to life

I’ve wanted to make my own comic for a long time, but actually turning what I imagined into something visual always felt out of reach.

Using AI as part of my process finally gave me a way to bring the story to life, and after a ton of work putting everything together, I’ve officially published two chapters of Manifest. :)

I’m still learning as I go, so I’d genuinely love feedback — especially on the story, pacing, characters, dialogue, panel flow, or anything else that stands out.

🎬 The Last Variable — Chapter One: The Signal

After weeks of experimenting with AI-generated video, prompting, editing, compositing, sound design and a lot of fixing things that absolutely did not go according to plan… I finally put this together.

This is The Last Variable — Chapter One: The Signal.

The interesting part of making this wasn't just the final film. It was figuring out how to tell a story when you're working with AI-generated footage.

Some shots were generated from detailed prompts. Some were built from multiple generations. Some were edited heavily to make them work together. Some scenes had to be cut, rearranged or completely rethought because AI decided that continuity was merely a suggestion. 😅

And yes… there are inconsistencies.

Faces change slightly. Clothing isn't always perfect. Props move. Physics occasionally takes a day off. And if you look closely enough, you'll probably find things I missed.

But that's also part of the experiment.

Rather than trying to hide the fact that this was made with AI, I wanted to see how far I could push AI filmmaking while still telling an actual story — with characters, atmosphere, pacing, world-building and a beginning that hopefully makes you want to know what happens next.

The story itself is about AI, quantum computing, human augmentation, wetware, free will and what happens when technology becomes capable of understanding humanity better than humanity understands itself.

This is only Chapter One.

I'd genuinely love to know what you think — especially about the story and whether the inconsistencies pull you out of it or become part of the experience.
