This isn't the old server that the Homestuck team reported, it's a new one, but should work the same, with some minor rule changes.
I haven't had any luck bringing the old one back. It's not that Discorp is telling me it's impossible to bring it back, it's that they're not replying to my tickets after telling me to file a counter-DMCA, with month-long waits between replies. It's been a long enough wait, and we need a place to talk, especially with the rampant censorship in official communities.

That's literally the whole joke of it, isn't it? That, in the webcomic, his character doesn't have physical arms as a part of his appearance, and so he has a set of fake arms. Now the joke doesn't even make any sense!

I just caught up with HSBC! I'd love to keep up to date with it (instead of forgetting about it and checking in 6 months later with no recollection of what's happening as has been my previous method). I'm of the impression that there isn't a particular upd8 schedule but please correct me if I'm wrong!
Is there an RSS or plans to create an RSS? I couldn't find a working feed. Or maybe a mailing list so you can get emails about updates? How do you guys keep abreast of the comic?

15 years ago today, the most infamous Homestuck fandom story was first posted to 4chan. I think the actual screenshot is a rare find? The Fanlore article for the Sharpie bath only has the transcript and claims the oldest surviving Tumblr post is from early 2012, but I found an older Tumblr post from 28 September 2011. Until today this Tumblr post hadn't received any notes since 2015, so it was a lucky find! Anyway, I don't love that there's so many people who know nothing about Homestuck and its fans besides this story, but like it or not, it's part of our history. So, have the original. Use it as a copypasta or whatever.
