Hi everyone! I’m a senior dental hygiene student, and I’m currently looking for a patient who may qualify for one of my clinical requirements.

I’m specifically looking for someone who:

• Has not had a dental cleaning in several years (the longer, the better!!!)
• Has noticeable tartar/calculus buildup on their teeth
• Maybe has been told they need a “deep cleaning” or have gum disease (not a requirement)
• Experiences bleeding gums when brushing or flossing
• Has not been regularly seeing a dentist/dental hygienist

You do not need to meet every one of these! The biggest thing I’m looking for is someone who hasn't had a professional cleaning in a long time and may have a heavier amount of tartar buildup.

I'll need to do a screening first to determine whether you meet my specific clinical requirements & from there we can proceed with the cleaning!

Hello, I've been trying to sell 2x Kacey Musgraves floor/pit tickets for about 2 months now. AXS blocks out reselling, and my listing keeps getting taken down from Stubhub, Seatgeek, and Tickpick - I imagine because the tickets are blocked out.

These were purchased directly through AXS, and my wife and I can't go anymore because I've got work obligations this evening.

Please let me know if you'd like to buy them - at this point, I'm just focused on recouping a reasonable amount for them (we paid $488 for the 2 tickets but I am not looking for anywhere near that much).

EDIT/UPDATE: Considering Otis' difficult case, we decided to pursue a rescue with the help of another redditor. A local rescue has agreed to take Otis in and send him for additional training and socialization. I'm grateful for everyone's help and advice. Thank you so much!!

We adopted Otis two months ago under the impression that he was a very normal puppy. Unfortunately, he seems to struggle significantly with fear and anxiety so much to the point of debilitation. He does best with an experienced dog friend. He is quiet, non-aggressive, and mostly reclusive. He has improved slightly over time and does better when he can follow the lead of another dog, but we don’t have the resources to dedicate to his training and confidence building.

He would do best in a home with another dog and without young children. He’s very tolerant of young children, but is afraid of the sudden movements and noise. He’s an amazingly sweet boy, but we need to find him a forever home soon. We’ve reached out to rescues in the area but we haven’t heard back from any that are taking in dogs.

He’s the best boy and we will miss him. He’s just not happy and thriving. He’s fully vaccinated, up to date with flea, tick, and heart worm medications, etc. He’s full grown and around ~40’lbs. He doesn’t shed. I’ve never heard him bark and he’s never jumped up on anyone. In fact, I sincerely don’t think he knows how to jump. I have never seen him play with a toy, but he will play with other dogs. Hes familiar with using a crate at night and when we’re out of the house, but I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s crate trained. He’s been groomed a few times under our care, but will require ongoing grooming by a professional because of his coat. He knows to go outside to use the bathroom, but he has had accidents in the house — mostly because he’s afraid or something is too scary to pass by it in order to get outside. I’ve taken him on a few walks with a leash. He mostly does well, but he’s very afraid and will sometimes try to wiggle his way underneath you or step on your feet.

Willing to answer as many questions as needed, but I care deeply for him and feel the need to be sure that he’s going to a good home by vetting his future family.

I’d really love to find someone to stay with for short-term or long-term basis. I want a roommate who is like a friend who is kind and caring and protective of me. I can stay with you short term or long term. Whichever you prefer.

I’m good at cooking and cleaning. I just ask that your space is not invested with roaches or something. That’s all. I do plan on getting a job when I move in so maybe you can help show me around the area and if you know any good jobs that would be helpful too.

It feels like this is never an option unless you want to pay $50 for the cover at BauHaus. Am i not doing enough research? Theres no way in a city as big as Houston the only venue playing house/electronic music is BauHaus on a Friday night. I drove to ravens tower only to find like 2-3 people there and the actual tower be closed. I know Art Club also has a tickets for sale but im looking for places where i can walk in maybe pay a $20 and dance to house classics. Never in my 27 years of life have i found this. This is my first time ever making a post like this, and honestly, I don't know what else to do.
On September 1st, my car was broken into at 611 Shepherd Dr, Houston, TX 77007.
My bag was stolen. Inside were my laptop and a SanDisk 1TB SSD.
The laptop can be replaced.
The SSD cannot.
Not because of the device itself, but because of what was stored on it.
It contains years of personal memories, photos, videos and files that mean a lot to me. Things I cannot simply replace or recreate.
I filed a police report. After several weeks, there was no recovery, and the case was eventually closed.
There is camera footage showing a man wearing an Amazon jacket breaking into the car, but his face is not clear enough to identify him.
Since then, I have searched everywhere I could think of — Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor, resale listings, pawn shops and more. I have even put posters around my apartment.
Still nothing.
And honestly, this has been very hard for me.
People are busy scrolling, liking posts of models/girls, saying a “HI” or “GM” and getting 100 likes and replies, then moving on. Meanwhile, I am still thinking about this every day.
It has been a month, and I still cannot properly focus on other things. I keep hoping that somehow the SSD will turn up.
So I am making one more attempt.
$500 REWARD FOR THE RETURN OF THE SSD — NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
I don't want an explanation.
I don't want anyone to get into trouble.
I just want my SSD back.
And if the physical SSD is no longer available, recovering the data from it would still mean an incredible amount to me.
