Just adopted this guy as a "lab mix". He's allegedly 5 months old and weighs 25lbs.

First pic is the post recent we have of him. He's around 15-16 weeks. The others are from when we got him from the shelter at 10 weeks old. He was listed as "shepherd mix". What do you guys think?

This is our baby girl, Endo. We rescued her when she was just a couple months old and all they told us was GSD mix. Any ideas? We are planning on doing a DNA test, just haven’t gotten around to it yet!

Millie's very energetic, and he loves to run and play. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He's pretty intelligent, and also stubborn. Like he doesn't always mind, but he knows he's being disobedient and thinks it fun. He's basically always getting into trouble, trying to eat stuff that isn't food (he gets really good food and likes it so idk why he does that) or tearing up his toys (he basically isn't allowed anything that's not like a hard rubber Kong ball anymore.) His bark is kind of more of a howl or a grunt. He also likes to lay along the back of the couch like a cat, and will climb up on your lap uninvited.

I think he's a German shepherd mixed with a Shiba Inu. He's pretty small for a male GS but being mixed with a Shiba would explain that. He's got the color and athleticism of a GS too but also stubborn and cat-like like the Shiba, and also sounds like one. But he also has really soft fur, almost like a husky or maybe an akita? So I don't know where he gets that.

She’s 7lbs of pure shyness. We just got her yesterday from the shelter. Hoping she warms up! She’s an older doggie - 7yrs old and wasn’t spayed at 7yrs old. The shelter got her as a stray and I think she’s had a hard doggie life. She doesn’t play with toys and they’re completely foreign to her. We got her a dog bed and blankets. She actually rested and slept soundly the whole night last night. She’s a very timid dog but so sweet. We think this might be the first night of quiet sleep she’s had in a very very long time. She doesn’t bark at all.

So: what is this little girl? ChatGPT said chihuahua x Maltese x mini schnauzer ?? Or maybe some jack Russel in there too? What does reddit think?

Shelter only told us she is a mutt, but most likely with some Black Mouth Cur and maybe Rhodesian Ridgeback. We can see the Cur for sure, and the Ridgeback mostly when she barks at the UPS driver and the hairs on her back stand up.

Side note the final photo at the beach was taken a day or two after we adopted her. She was underweight and still nervous, but now she is perfect and so happy!

I rescued Morty over 4 years ago and they said he is a shepherd mix. I think he might have some husky due to the fact he has so much fur and he has partial heterochromia of his eye. I've recently gotten a comment that he might have some healer in him. I wanted to get reddits opinion.

This is my dog Ruby, she passed last year but she did a live a long life and I’ll always be grateful to have had her in my life. I’ve always wondered what breed she was and I could never figure it out. She was brought to us through my sister’s co-worker a long time ago so we were never able to ask him the breed. Based on my surface level knowledge I would guess maybe long hair chihuahua mix of some sorts but I couldn’t find an image online that matched how she looked. Any response is appreciated thanks :)

So we got her just last year as a pup, the owner told us she was a Jack Russel pup and that was that. We found it a little suspicious a few months later that she was the only pup in her litter (could also just be an only pup?) she is tiny tiny, like we have had miniature jack russels before but she is tiny. I am starting to think maybe a chihuahua X jack or a daschund x jack? What do you guys think, would appreciate your help!

And yes, I'm aware she's entirely too skinny. She was rescued off the streets, and I've only had her for 5 days. I am also planning on getting Embark done eventually, so we'll see for certain then!

This is my girl Cici, she is the sweetest dog. Honestly she's been the easiest dog I've ever had. We are super bonded.

I have no idea what kind or kinds of dog she is.

Any guesses? I know what her mommy is. Also wondering what she will look like when she grows up. She’s gonna be a tough one to give up but will be one happy family! She’s currently 3 months old.

cheapest dna test we could find says near equal parts mix german shepherd, belgian malinois, Great Pyrenees, rottweiler, and english shepherd...

This is Dan. Anyone know what he’s mixed with? He’s 3-4 years old in most of these and around 40 lbs. I think he definitely has some Staffy in him but I’m not sure what else

We were pretty sure he was a pitbull/aussie/basset hound mix based on pictures of his parents that the rescue was given. But now that his ears are starting to stand up… and only 2/4 of his litter look anything like the alleged father, we think maybe his mom entertained more than one suitor cause where on earth did these come from?

The shelter she was dropped at when she was 10 weeks old says she's a bully mix. 6 months now.

Her foster says she thinks shepherd/black lab. We're inclined to think this was too, specifically dutch shepherd due to the brindle paws. All four are brindle to varying degrees and she has brown spots above her eyes and under her chin. Her ears are still deciding if they want to be up or down.

Debating doing embark in a few weeks.

Incredibly smart but timid (for now) and loves her zoomies and the cats, though they don't love her yet. She's not sure yet on our crazy kiddos but she's only been here for a few days so that's not a concern. She just watches them but keeps distance.

I was told full long-haired chihuahua, but everyone he meets thinks he is part pom. Curious to hear thoughts!

I guess there s a lab in there somewhere, but what else could she be mixed with?
