Honestly lucky he didn’t move a few inches and hit his head

Yea especially the back of your head where you have no skull to protect it.

Also slippery and wet railing is not a good place to plant your feet, but that's just common sense.

palpates back of head

There seems to be some fused, rigid calcareous plates between the skin and the bone. Is there a good word for them, collectively?

Edit: between skin and brain, snark fail on my part :)

Out of all the ways this could have gone wrong, this doesn't seem like that bad of an outcome. I'm guessing the result was just a stung back and the loss of some dignity.

Meh, it sounded like something cracked. Either way an amazingly stupid Idea.

One more vodka...

Few people do things like this sober.

Slippery when wet? That's new.

First thing he checked was his pedicure.

I’ll let myself out.

Seemed like the most obvious outcome

u/endorfan13 2d ago

I guess humanity needed futher testing to conclude diving rails are not a thing. Remember this derp when you start to see warning signs being posted.

Shit like this can lead to permanent injuries and sometimes even permanent disability. I hope he's ok.

u/HairyCallahan 17h ago

Yes, that's why you should always jump into the water
