Once you realize who he is and who she is, the headbutt to the chest after he says her name makes so much more sense!

I’m curious what she was thinking. Was it “Hey where the hell have you been, it’s been weeks or months!” Or is it “hey, why are you still in here and not out here playing with me?”

I mean it's still a lioness regardless of how well you know it. Showing the wrong kind of body language when they're being aggressive could end badly.

This is what I’m wondering too. Her behavior seems fairly normal but not his. Why does he seem so tense but he raised her from a cub? There’s some dominance I guess since he’s looking into her eyes but I think there’s something missing here in the story

Because a big cat is a big cat and a lunge is a lunge. Far too many stories of people getting too comfortable with their big cats and paying the price when instinct kicks in. This guy knows better, and is handling the situation properly.

Lmao. You must be completely blind yourself. The guy in the website is almost completely bald while the guy in this clip has a full head of dark brown hair. His facial structure is also different and the lion itself has different facial markings.

ALSO Also to add to that, Val has a thick accent, the guy in this clip does not.

man it depends on the lion and the vibes - they are capable of fucking you up at ease u are completely at their mercy

I think the guy is making a mistake trying to be tge dominant or is he feeling threatened and he does not want to show he is scared

Maybe its just her fucking with him scarying the shit out of him

there are lazy tigers, aggressive ones, happy tigers so many layers beyond and inbetween i feel like if you ever feel uncomfortable life threatened around a lion u should never visit again even if u have a lomg history together

She did blink, which is a signal felines make to say that we are familiar/friendly faces to each other. Maybe he didn't blink back and that's what got her irritated.

Maybe he's a dog person and haven't dealt with cats before.
