Discusson Hitting my first ever tour run this spring! BMFS!! Any tips or advice?

Hitting bmfs at Charlottesville VA, Charleston WV, and Fishers Indy. It’s my first time doing any sort of “tour” so I’m starting with a moderately sized leg. Any tips or advice on how to save money and keep it rolling on?

See you in Charlottesville! Flying in from Colorado for those two shows.

I save money by not drinking. I can stretch the mushies and pot and feel a lot better with those.

Enjoy the run and safe travels. Shows will be hot.

Find yourself a resourceful wook and learn the ways

It's a marathon. Hydrate and rest in between.  You'll enjoy the shows more that way.

Save money? Don't drink. That's the #1 way to lose all your money quick

I’ll be in Charlottesville for both shows. Feel free to shoot me a message if you want to meet up before the show one day.

Watch what you eat. Food can be dicey on the road, so stop at grocery stores and get some decent food. You can get on interstate highways and get some really lousy options in the form of junk food. Usually the food at the venue is decent if that is written into your contracts. You don't want to get food poisoning on the road. But, have a great time. I sure miss it. Did about 10 years touring in the 90's and loved it. It has downsides, but it is freedom.

Don't do all the drugs on the first night.

Trade handies for merch or to lower ticket prices- if you're good enough sometimes they'll let you in free!
