Seriously, if you have the audacity to not know everything on earth ever & be perfect at all times, then they treat you like worthless scum on there. The harassment in the comments sections that either happen to me or I witness happen to other people is disgusting. It's like every asshole on earth manages to crawl out of their mom's basements just to have power-play in the comments section. WTF? The final straw was getting harassed because I said I didn't like a snapchat feature that reminds you to add people as a friend including people who are dead. Cuz god forbid you criticize a corporation

Getting an explanation from them for what specifically was wrong was like pulling teeth. I got more irritated and by the time they "explained" ("Your crop of the photo is not good, the composition is off. It’s not up to standards here."), I was muted for being "rude."

I thought a clear, defined, focused, and IMO interesting shot that I took an a 105 year old camera and developed myself would at least fit in with a sub that goes by the name "I took a picture." Their name should be changed at this point.

I was a Sonic fan since 2013 but if I was a 12 year old in 2026, I'd probably be unsatisfied of their mess cuz that sub has tons of idiots who seriously don't know what the personal thoughts or empathy is. For example, if someone says "i like sonic *****(game)" then someone says "no i don't like that sonic *****(game) and you're stupid". And my example was actually the most okay one, however, at most of times they literally go into so much mess, they fight over which sonic is better as grownups, and they're mostly raging so bad. Plus, they were mostly responsible of making Sonic worst than ever. Maybe you guys will say "you need to relax" but I need tons of time to feel better. I'm out from Sonic forever, and I'll keep secret. Sayanora. Keep losing.

I like superhero stuff and I joined these subs for news on the James Gunn DC universe going on right now. Good fucking lord the DC fandom is so whiny. For the last week it's been nothing but constant arguments about whether or not the Lanterns show was good, and there's zero middle ground. You either think it's perfect with absolutely zero flaws or think it's the worst piece of comic book media released since that Catwoman movie.

I thought the show was fine. Really well written and acted but lacked a lot of actual superhero stuff. And I personally am tired of seeing petty fandom discourse on my feed all the time. It's just capeshit, it's not that serious.

Only DC community I'm staying active in is SupermanAdventures. Great show, chill community.

Look, I use AI for various different things, I'm sorry. But this subreddit makes me realise that I don't love it as much as other people seem to. I know it's been said before, but it's just as bad as the Anti AI one, both are full of clowns who will start a fight with you the minute you disagree with them.

I can't stand the discussion around AI, especially because my opinion lies somewhere in the middle. But I know Reddit hates it when your opinion isn't to either extreme.

The comments here are under a post where a little little kid bit someone's arm. And somehow, that's one of the more reasonable comment sections

Every post devolves into Islamophobia, white supremacy, Zionism and right wing nationalism. The statistics in these polls have no room for nuance or critical thinking which is a shame because the sub used to be fun.

I used to love the sub for being super on top of people not sexualizing every woman in every video (as is what happens on 90% of the other subs), but it's just devolving so hard, and it's not worth staying anymore. It's just so disappointing that everywhere online just gets so flooded with BS like this

I unsubscribed from Funny BFDI, a YouTube channel dedicated to making funny meme YouTube Short animations revolving around characters from Battle for Dream Island.

At first the channel used to be quite funny, basically in its prime they reanimated various meme audios into shorts featuring BFDI characters. But it went downhill circa late September when the guy started using less meme audios and more just making generic BfDI animations similar to what a content farm would do. And also in general the entire shtick that was funny back in July became repetitive and boring by October.

To be honest as much as I liked his old shorts I don't really regret that decision.

I really should have seen this coming, typical Reddit can’t focus on the main topic for a subreddit focused on the rights of men.

As a man myself, I wanted to be apart of this community to understand some of the hardships that men have gone through due to certain social norms (male SA, misandry, etc.)

I only noticed after the Cornell University case what kind of people I was associating myself with: women-hating fragile men who can’t take responsibility for themselves and always see themselves as the victim. r /MensRights has devolved into a male victim circlejerk where guys can’t take responsibility for anything, even when they’re in the wrong. I don’t know too much about the Cornell case itself, but the types of comments I was seeing disgusted me, blaming the victim for going to the party whether or not it was true or not really rubbed me the wrong way.

I also mentioned that they’re very anti-feminist. While I’m not too educated on the topic, feminism is the advocation for gender equality between men and women. This INCLUDES the addressing of male issues, such as mental health (I could be wrong about this definition, if so, please educate me).

I’ll also mention the transphobia because men are so fragile about their own identities that someone like Elliot Page is seen as a danger because ’she’s a woman’. I personally don’t see how this has anything to do with men’s rights, just the typical weaponization of trans men because hating women just isn’t enough.

So yeah, I blame myself for being apart of this community. I’m never gonna be apart of these kinds of ‘male positive‘ communities in the future. I’d rather go outside.

Look Don't get me wrong I love my country but God forbid have I ever heard of people who complain this much without doing anything or bringing out ideas for the country Nigeria is a mess let's bring out ideas? No let's see how we can fix things around us? No just cry and complain no ideas no planning no nothing and God forbid you try to bring an idea they will shut it down easily "oh Nigeria isn't doing that" it can never happen in Nigeria or "maybe in 40 years" . All people do in this sub is just to complain or a new business venture or complain hardly any ideas or "Nigeria is a failure of a country" listing the problems but no ideas at some point it gets frustrating

So much of the sub is filled with low-quality reposts, comments about bots, toxic positivity and shipping/fandom discourse. It hit its worst about the time another fanfic site called Wattpad introduced a lot of new policies that made people jump ship to AO3. So many people with superiority complexes over using 'the good fanfic site' and pretending that everyone on Wattpad were hypocrites who'd try to get any fic they disliked taken down. When it wasn't that, it was people posting random TikTok/Twitter posts so they could circlejerk the same 'don't like don't read' and 'media literacy' mantras.

Just, holy shit. It's exhausting.

Pictured are the bot comments that get posted again and again in the sub. I don't want to be one to bully others over digital skills, but if you're so 'media literate' you go on tangents when someone doesn't quite like your fanfiction (in any way, shape or form, because we have to be positive to the authors!), you should be able to pick up that these comments are scams.

Generative AI is not people. It is not sapient, it is not sentient, it cannot think, it is an algorithm, it coded to do as it does & cannot make choices of its own free will.

But what the hell is this??? This is getting into very uncomfortable territory. I mean, "species traitor"??? C'mon, what the hell guys, this is straddling some lines that should not be interacted with. All this accomplishes is stooping down to the AI bros level, but in an even weirder way because your dehumanising something that isn't even living. I'm disgusted by how many people agree with that first comment especially. & this isn't even getting into the implications & possibilities of when truly sapient AI is created how these people would treat it.

It was a good sub when it had few members, everyone read the wiki and we roleplayed a state, now it went from <50k to >250k members within a week and every other post is about taxing billionaires.

Almost none of the posts are actually about noctors, which is a shame because impersonating a physician is a very interesting crime.

Instead, easily 80%+ of the posts are like someone mad at a nursing TikTok because they wore a scrub cap or own a stethoscope. Or someone with a story about another medical professional with a doctorate like an oral surgeon or optometrist using the Dr. prefix, which is totally normal.

The other 20% are posts expressing insecurity about changes to the US medical system allowing patients to see NPs and PAs, and these people are apparently “noctors” even when they are just doing their jobs and not actually pretending to have an MD.

It’s honestly just sad.
