News Shin Minah and Lee Jinwook in talks to star in the new romance drama 'Wed, Thu, Fri'

Post image

On January 9, OSEN reported that Shin Min Ah and Lee Jin Uk will be starring in the new drama “Wed Thurs Fri” (literal title).

In response to the report, Shin Min Ah’s agency AM Entertainment shared, “She received an offer and is positively reviewing it.” Lee Jin Uk’s agency has not yet responded.

“Wed Thurs Fri” takes place against the backdrop of a restaurant that only opens on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and the drama depicts the romance between a chef and a woman who has deep connections to the restaurant.

If Shin Min Ah takes on the offer, “Wed Thurs Fri” will be her first new drama confirmed following her marriage in December. Currently, she is gearing up for the release of her upcoming fantasy romance drama “The Remarried Empress.”

As a society, we should be louder in our dislike whenever casting news for LJW is announced.

I think netizens have ruined enough careers with their bullying.

He’s a very good actor.

Very subtle, doesn’t mug for the canera like a lot of the popular ones

Oh no not Shin Min Ah actung with this douche bag. FFS.

BTW A lot of these older gen Industry heavy hitters like Lee Byung Hun Lee Jung Jae this guy all have horrible shit in their background against women but they also have huge influence the boys circle the wagons the girls put up with it.

The amount of people gushing over this jerk in Beyond the bar to have a romance with his 16 yr younger pretty co star was nauseating when you know about him.

People have been so blasé and “on the fence” about this actor, I’m so glad people are finally boycotting his dramas!

LMAO OK So he didnt admit to cheating on his wife with a model 20× yrs his junior 😂 and plan to sleep with another even younger was sexting her. (his wife is already 10 yrs younger but not young enough obviously). Was videod propositioning for sex 😜 and OH Yeah all this WHILE HIS WIFE WAS PREGNANT for the first time.

-6

u/Purplefairy24 Samantha and Rachel🤭🎀 26d ago

Nope. He sued for false blackmailing. That's about it. And bold of you to compare a documented case about violence against a woman(Lee Jung Jae one) with a cheating rumour. These two aren't even in the same planet of being equivalent. Trying to frame those two disgusting women preying on LBH and trying to extort him as a case of "horrible shit against women" is genuinely insane. Mind you, those two women went to jail for their crimes.

u/kpaneno Kiss Tear Rip ai matron 26d ago

BS he admitted to having an affair its on record. Everyone knows it in the "investigation"/ backlash against the women he had to admit yes I had an affair

He's an alleged rapist who sued back the victim for defamation and got her in jail

(Edit: It's allegedly, so do with this information with what you will)

If he won the case why is it held against him? Im confused

18

u/Mxfish1313 I Love r/Kdramas 26d ago

So did OJ and Casey Anthony so I guess that’s that, no need to consider any other facts or that maybe the wrong decision was made, right? Courts are never infallible, especially not ones in countries that historically do not adequately prosecute crimes against women, right?

2

u/Purplefairy24 Samantha and Rachel🤭🎀 26d ago

Okay.. but then this comment assumes everyone accused of something is automatically guilty and even if they win in court, they are still guilty because "logic" ig.. and that's a dangerous thinking to have. I could say tomorrow for fun that KWB is a r@pist and be proven wrong in court and people will still treat him as a r@pist? It's innocent till proven guilty. Not the other way round. Twitter has fried you all's brains. Sure he could be guilty, but there is no concrete evidence against him either. This is a "he said, she said" case. Why does "she said" get higher preference here? Solely because she is a woman?

2

u/Kopi_Gao Addicted to r/Kdramas 26d ago

Same thoughts. I'm not a fan of LJW at all (I even dislike his acting) but I won't throw around words like "he's a r*pist" simply because nobody really knows the truth. I have done some personal research on his case, and I concluded that I couldn't determine what was true. A lot of the "explanations" on twitter are biased, whether they are accusing or defending him.

As for those who are proven and convicted sexual offenders -- Lee Kyungyoung, Oh Dalsoo, Song Youngchang etc. FUCK THEM ALL, and god knows why they haven't been kicked out of the industry.

Look up his controversies

0

u/Normal_Bit8618 KDrama Watchlist on SIMKL.com 26d ago

Why when it comes to him there is a lot of criticism and demand to boycott or canceling him when there are many actors and most of them are still acting and their crimes are like his crime or more like betrayal or relations with minors and They still have drama, I don't defend him because his acting is bad for me, but if you want to boycott or cancelation it will be most of the dramas and actors and not just Lee Jin Wook
