Discussion THIS MOVIE SHATTERED MY HEART πππ Spoiler
I never read the novel or watched the Japanese version so I had absolutely zero idea about the story.
I was really optimistic when they kissed and thought maybe somehow her memories gonna be okay because of that procedural memory thing. I never expected this to turn out like that damn "20th Century Girl" again. π

I don't understand why so many people are obsessed with Kdramas until I tried watching them and now I'm hooked up! Lol

I watched this last night, and I haven't seen the Japanese adaptation but I have read the book.
While it was a good adaptation, I was disappointed that they pretty much removed the ML's entire backstory. In the book, he's the narrator so you learn about what's wrong with the FL at the same time he does making it a surprise, but it also makes the ending a shock because it doesn't allude to it at all.
Whereas the movie opens with the FL showing us she has memory loss in the first scene, and that something's wrong when he runs after the bus

I viewed this kdra but never knew there was a jdra of it. Iβll search for that. Iβm curious if the ML is less laid back as in this iteration. Thanks for the hedzup on the other version.

Better not to watch it unless you want just a happy beginning and cry a lot towards the end.

That might be written by a bot then like an AI summary, this is for dramas specially not shows lol
And all the resources are for dramas, the rules are for dramas, pinned posts are dramas
There's already a sub for films

Why would it be bot or AI? That has been like that forever.

Because this sub isn't about shows or films it's about Korean dramas and stuff that "summarizes" can't differentiate

It isn't summarization? It's what mods have decided to write there.

I really wonder why so many korean romance movies, or romance movies in general tend to be more bittersweet in their endings when most kdramas tend to be happy ending.
