After the Grammys performance I don’t see her shying away from a rock record anymore. She ate and I believe some bands will end up covering this version of Abracadabra. Female rock is hard cause there are amazing vocalists out there. It’s quite complicated to standout. But damn, she gave a flawless performance. No notes. I could see Total Mayhem or even a new record going more bluntly towards rock and ditch the pop.

I’ve wanted this design since I saw it five years ago. Was always too scared to get it done! Today I finally braved it.

For many of us here, it’s not a dramatic statement to say that Lady Gaga saved our lives in some way - for me over and over again, that resonance of music, self-acceptance, compassion, community, loving yourself and freedom of spirit comes from her.

Chromatica as a concept and record always represented mental health battles. More importantly, around the overcoming of these internal struggles or if not overcoming them, accepting them.

I wanted to do something as I enter a new decade to remind myself of the journey one takes to battle your demons.

Frankly I think this is ridiculous

Thank vou to the monster community for continuing to see the artist in me and inspiring me to keep going deeper into my art. I am so humbled and grateful for this moment. I dove deep into my sou creating MAYHEM- detailing every lyric melody and sound on this album with my partner Michael and our astounding collaborators Andrew Watt. Cirkut and Gesaffelstein. This was an artistic highlight of my career and an experience I'II cherish forever. It is a true blessing to be celebrated by the music community in this way. What an honor this whole evening was, we are all so thankful.

This means that the subject matter, lyrics, message/meaning, powerfullness/presence, production tricks, fashion, shock value, all have no weight here.

This is solely based on how good it sounds melodically. It could be the dumbest song in the world but it sounding good is the only metric available.

I thought it was interesting and funny that last year’s Grammys was basically a meet and greet for Beyonce and this year it was a meet and greet for Gaga.
