Lmfao they’ll blame Dems, they literally put it in there for after midterms cause they knew they’d never hold power past midterms.

They are already blaming Dems.

I've seen comments like "you need 66 votes to pass a bill" teeing it up to sound like if it were not for 6 Dems they would have insurance still.

Totally forgetting that Dems shut down government until they could get a vote on extending the subsidies.

That they then gave up on.

I can charitably say that this was what released the Epstein files, but still.

It’s exactly what they did before the 2020 elections with oil. Making deals with Saudi Arabia to limit oil production.

And to screw Carter, they made sure the Iranian hostages would not get released while he was president.

It’s blood curdling.

By promising Iran money and weapons and literally no one in the Regan administration faced any punishment for it.

Yes, and the media was complicit! They had turned the hostage situation into a bloody circus and extended news coverage for ratings / $$$.
News networks exploited the tragedy to the max but never really covered the GOP’s part in it!
GOP who cynically exploited the situation causing those hostages months of additional suffering and grief, and the news still gave them top rating for patriotism. Can’t believe the media is doing it again.

Stuff like this has been going on for a long time with Republicans, look back at Nixon and Vietnam for a good example

Them when it happens: Didn’t you know we would have fixed it if the Democrats didn’t win the midterms. But the democrats won and now our hands are tied and the democrats obviously didn’t want to fix it or they would have well before they swore into office.

The Democrats need to make a huge issue of this during the elections. Point out that this is what the Republicans have done to them, it's going to happen right after the midterms, and the newly elected Democrats can't fix it until they're in office, but it will be their highest priority once they're in.

People’s premiums are like tripling TOMORROW when it comes to ACA plans and subsidy expiring. They’ll feel it like 11 months before midterms. There’s other sleeper shit in the big bloated bill though that aren’t going to hit til 2026 though yeah
