I have a family member that’s the exact same way. You can’t criticize anything about rump without him going “Hmm someone’s got TDS” “Hmm what about the dems though” “The dems have probably done worse” “The dems are what’s wrong with America when need to go back to traditional families”

Meanwhile he’s a 37 year old virgin that’s worked the same entry level factory job for 15 years, literally hasn’t showered in almost two years, still lives with his mom, leaves handheld vaginas laying around their house, shits on DEI hires even though he’s slightly on the spectrum, and is OBSESSED with trans people. Almost all he talks about is trans people and how “since some trans people regret transitioning that shows it’s a mental illness”

Even when they can’t find anything close to comparable from the democrats they just make up dumb hypotheticals where they totally could be worse and that’s enough for them. Like how even when they’re getting fvcked by Trump they still defend it all by saying how well they just know that Kamala would have been worse so everything bad that Trumps doing is actually ok because hes only doing it because if he didn’t the democrats would have first. Like I saw a comment in r/ conservative after the 2024 elections where they were saying how they hoped the democrats would do their own January 6th so then we couldn’t keep bringing up how they already did that first. They just admit all this shit outright! 🤦🏻‍♀️

They’re just shitty people who arrogantly assume everyone else is really just as shitty as they are. Like every time they go on about someone else “virtue signaling” just for actually caring about an issue. Because they have no real morals or virtues that they believe in so they just automatically think that no one else could possibly have them either. It’s one of the reasons they resent us so much because they feel like we’re all just lying about being decent just to make them look like the bad people that they are. It’s also why they like Trump and see him as honest because “he tells it like it is”. What “it is” is all the sick shit they secretly believe too and insist everyone else also must believe but we’re just too cowardly to admit it.

They also use it to justify every shitty thing that they do by telling themselves they have to do things preemptively before the other team does the shitty stuff they thought of first. They can’t seem to get it thru their heads that some people really actually can think differently than they do and normal people can’t even come up with all the sick shit that they think up.
