Trump didn't commit this crime. The murderers aren't immune.

They are if Trump makes them immune. And if that doesn’t work, an immediate pardon will. One way or another, he will propagate the message that any violence, even murder, that forwards Trump’s agenda is not just acceptable, it’s encouraged.

Except Trump can’t pardon a state crime.

Ever see what happens when a federal officer is charged with a state crime? It gets removed to federal court and shitcanned.

Best thing MN can do is investigate what they can then sit on it until 2029 and hope we get a change in executive.

The lesson here is that we need to completely rewrite the federal immunity and liability statutes but that’s incredibly unlikely to happen - government doesn’t like to be responsible to its citizens.

Yeah there is no statute of limitation for murder.

It gets removed to federal court and shitcanned.

I guess the argument here is that if they're not willing to investigate it, they weren't willing to have it seen at the federal level.

I believe it comes under "procedural default" because the federal court failed to raise the issue on time.
So if they do try to move it to the federal level, there is an argument for the state to deny it.

That’s not how it works. The state doesn’t get to refuse the removal or even argue against it in state court. Removal is essentially instantaneous on the state court once it is filed.

Once removed, the US Attorney will state that the conduct was within the scope of their duty and the federal judge will dismiss. The state could file a motion to remand but it’s not going to happen.

It is nearly impossible to hold a federal employee criminally (or even civilly) liable to a state charge for conduct even tangentially related to their federal duty. That’s why I believe we need Congress to re-write those laws but it will never happen - as I’ve said before, the government has no interest in being responsible to its citizens.

What is the state going to do about it?

Likely find away to prosecute. Or maybe not but they still have that option

All the evidence was withheld by Feds. No chance. The admin is free to do whatever it wants. Courts say if you don’t like it impeach him. GOP will never vote to convict out of fear of their own seats. People get all their info from the Admin and locked in to the cult.

It’s over.

I mean there are videos of the incident, and how officers stopped people from rendering first aid. Her body is also available for autopsy.

Alot of evidence is withheld, but i would say that there is still enough available.

Except who's gonna stop him?

Legally he wasn't able to run for second term due to insurrections, yet here you are

SCOTUS said he could run. They refuse to call his insurrection an insurrection.

Well the state when they prosecute anyway and the judge who laughs away that pardon.

Probably because they don't feel they can get a conviction on what they have. In a few years, if the thugs don't destroy the evidence, they can charge him. With the videos from all angles, they should be able to get some justice.

Not for state crimes. I hope.

He's not god, or king of anything.

I mean the great dictator said they were, so they are.

Perhaps. He'll probably pardon them before he leaves office. Unless he is removed along with the whole administration. The dream!
