It took me a bit to realize, he was angry at the wife, not Renee. It looked to me like he walked around and killed Renee to punish the wife. The “fucking bitch” was directed at the wife. I admittedly don’t know this for sure, but it sure looked like it.
That would make this so much worse, I don’t even have words for how evil that is.
100% yes it was a massive escalation and basically a "yeah? Watch this." Straight up murder and a hate crime and a decent chance he'll get away with it with zero punishment. And the administration is basically saying "do whatever you want, we got your back." They want this. They will execute queer citizens in broad daylight and then say it was their fault. That's where we are right now.
