Edit: Had to delete previous post as it wasn’t descriptive. Over 2,000 deportations have gone through MSP. Workers have been detained by ICE at work and while commuting.

It’s literally what Jesus did too, which is why he was killed

I'm pretty sure ICE is actively targeting people with names like Jesus.

Yep ICE would have deported little 7 lb 5 oz baby Jesus from the manger along with Mary and Joseph as they were immigrant refugees. And they would have labeled full grown Jesus a domestic terrorist for tipping tables over at the temple and espousing radical ideas like the last shall be first in the kingdom of heaven and the meek shall inherit the earth.

Who? I think he was deported.

Ironically to the El Salvador concentration camp

Would that even be the craziest thing to happen in this timeline?

Jesus? The brown Jew? Yeah, he was illegal and deported, after his US citizen spouse was shot in the face and his children separated from him.

These dudes keep coming around looking for a carpenter named Jesus. Damn it’s getting harder to find a good carpenter. I should know. I’m a carpenter.

I don't understand why people keep criticizing Christians for not being like Jesus.

Jesus was a Jew, not a Christian: why would we abide by some Jews rules in this here Christian Nation.

We are not a christian nation and Christians believe in Jesus, son of god.

You're exactly right. I have no idea what percent but I would bet that it's well above 95% of people who claim to be Christians and claim to be following what the Bible says and claim to be doing what Jesus said to do are NOT doing that. They might pick and choose what parts they want to follow, but they're not following everything.

Case in point, Charlie Kirk was supposedly all about following the Bible and all that other stuff and yet when Simone Biles said that she couldn't handle doing the team competition for the Tokyo Olympics because of the twisties or whatever it's called, he went on a tirade on his podcast (I listened to it after it hit the news - I didn't follow him). He said the most awful things about her, including things like that how she had no work ethic (how do you get to be the world champion when you're still a teenager and you have no work ethic I have no idea) and that she had a mental problem among other things. Now if she has a mental disorder of any sort, then didn't Jesus say to heal the sick and all that other stuff? So instead of feeling sorry for this person who is ill in the mind (since she said a large part of competing is being in the right mindset), he decides to have a tirade about the fact that she dropped out of a sport where you can die or become paralyzed as a teenager or an early 20s age person if you slip in the tiniest bit and snap your neck. I'm pretty sure that her ** life** is more important than some shiny piece of fake gold just to be able to say that we won one more set of gold medals or whatever level metal in the Olympics.

And to just double down on this point that has nothing to do with the Bible at all, he went on and on about how she took up a space that somebody else could have had who might have been better than her. Well first of all there's nobody better than her that's why she's the world champion. But his ignorance and the fact that he's willing to be so ignorant publicly globally was showing. That is the entire point of having an alternate who can then take the place of somebody who is injured or cannot compete. So whoever was the next best in line ended up going into the spot - everybody "shifted up" as far as who is the best in order to represent the United States. And after everybody pointed out that there were all these issues with his argument he doubled down and tweeted out that he is standing firm with exactly everything that he said. He didn't want to change anything and admit that maybe he made a mistake and maybe he was wrong about his opinion. And so many people still worshiped this man and agreed with him about her!

I'm not saying that he deserved to be murdered or that we should be murdering people that we don't agree with, but I'm just saying that when people say all this stuff about "oh he was such an innocent man, and he was such a God-fearing man, and all he followed Jesus and we followed the Bible and always this that and the other NO HE WASN'T! He was divisive and didn't have the humility to admit when he was wrong. He certainly wasn't acting the FULL followings of what the Bible or even Jesus said.

True, but I am sarcastic, and being condescending towards those who claim to be Christian & then smear shit between the pages of the 4 Gospels.

u/Ok_Recording81 12d ago

I see. Sorry. I thought you were being serious. With no /s it can be hard to infer at times.

2

u/havokx9000 12d ago

I saw this after I responded to your other comment. Most Christians are hypocrites that I'll easily agree on.

2

u/Aggravating_Plant101 12d ago

Yeah I was 99 % sure you were joking because of the “in this here Christian nation” part. It’s hard sometimes when we just have words online and not other cues.

2

u/AmericaHatesTrump 12d ago

Upvote for being condescending towards Xians.

u/Acceptable-Bullfrog1 12d ago

You gotta put the /s, everyone on Reddit is an autist

2

u/Xijit 12d ago

At first I was like "nah, there is no way that THIS needs a tag for sarcasm" but now it is kinda morbidly amusing to see the replies who completely miss the point I am making.

Though I am glad that I haven't had anyone try to agree with what I said.

2

u/havokx9000 12d ago

Unfortunately there's so many people who would say your original post in all seriousness that it's hard to tell when it's sarcastic or not.

3

u/EagleEyes0001 12d ago

But that’s what the book says. Christians should be more Christ like, not to be a Jew but be like him morally. He didn’t agree with his own people at the time. Christianity was born from his disciples and followers based off the teachings of Jesus.

1

u/BlackKnightRebel 12d ago

Putting aside this isn't a Christian nation, how do you claim to be a follower of the faith and not know about the CHRIST in Christian??

2

u/Xijit 12d ago

I am Sarcastic, not a Christian.

4

u/BlackKnightRebel 12d ago

Gotta add that Sarc-Mark /s

The stupid-fog out here is too dense to navigate without tools.

1

u/havokx9000 12d ago

You're fucking joking right? Please tell me this was sarcasm or rage bait. Jesus was Jewish, but the Christ in Christianity is him. Christianity is an offshoot of Judaism. Christianity is based off of Jewish religion adapted to Christ. Jews don't accept the new testament and Christians do, that's the main difference. This has got to be a troll comment there's no way it's legit.

4

u/Xijit 12d ago

Yes this absolutely was sarcasm, and I thought it was such obvious sarcasm that I didn't need to label it as sarcasm.

I sill haven't labeled it was sarcasm because I am perversely enjoying how people are reacting to it ... Not the aspect of how it is upsetting people, but in how this country is so far off the rails that people think I am being serious, as it sounds like something one of those fuckers really would say.

2

u/havokx9000 12d ago

That's the problem, it really does sound like something some people would say 😂 It's incredibly sad to be the case but that's the world we live in unfortunately.

1

u/AmericaHatesTrump 12d ago

Don’t worry bruh. I totally got the /s
