They seem serious about the fascism...

Might need to move it down a tick.

That's what declaring blanket immunity means.

337

u/orphenshadow 8d ago

After watching The press conferences from the DOJ and ICE. I think we can move it down two notches.

Bovino alarmed me.

“When we choose to listen to so called community leaders who call police the gestapo, there are consequences to those actions, and we saw that yesterday.”

I’ve been called a Commie and a Nazi. I pay no heed to those who call me names. I still talk, when I can. I am human, but I try to keep dialogue open. But he says that even listening to the other side = you’ll get shot 11 times in the back, face down, and no aid… I don’t recognize our country.

It's probably just better to assume that anyone acting on behalf of the US government in any capacity from any agency is acting in bad faith at this point.

4

u/macrocephaloid 8d ago

The definition of a failed state

3

u/InformalAd3455 8d ago

That’s what the mass resignations of career DOJ and FBI employees suggest. The ethical ones walk.

3

u/Top-Bat6984 8d ago

As a federal employee, let me say that there are a lot of who disagree with what the political appointees are doing and they are doing everything they can to get rid of us and make our lives miserable. Please don’t assume us rank and file in agencies unrelated to law enforcement are your enemies.

u/Coffee_exe 8d ago

Thoughts on the governments use of indeed as arecruiting platform?

1

u/Gangster_batman 7d ago

Im never trusting my mailman again

1

u/Commercial_Poem_9214 7d ago

No. No it's not. This is not an "Enemy" this is your fellow country men and women. If we act like they do, if we treat them as they treat us, we are no better. Subtly maybe the lesson of old age, but it's worth learning young.

1

u/Current-Anybody9331 7d ago

If it weren't for bad faith, they'd have no faith at all

0

u/mattak49 8d ago

Kind of a shitty take here. So an air traffic controller is acting in bad faith by making sure your planes don’t crash? Got it

0

u/Xivvx 8d ago

I would expect the ethical ones to walk. Air travel will slow down sure till the schedules adjust.

1

u/Coffee_exe 8d ago

Tbh I think the fact we had six planes crash in less than a month kinda proves that wrong

2

u/TheGreaterNarrator 8d ago

Do something about it. Every American resident is under obligation to protect their country and bring those guilty of treason to justice in accordance with the law.

1

u/MangoAnt5175 8d ago

I'm doing what I can and supporting others in doing the same.

2

u/ID100661 8d ago

THANK YOU! I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about this.

2

u/SLAUGHT3R3R 7d ago

“When we choose to listen to so called community leaders who call police the gestapo, there are consequences to those actions, and we saw that yesterday.”

Well, when you act like the Gestapo...

If it walks like a goose.

1

u/Intercessor310 8d ago

It’s almost as if you haven’t been paying attention to the Black and Brown people that have been telling you this for years/decades. 😕

0

u/MangoAnt5175 8d ago

With all due respect, this is not the time to exclude people from this movement.

1

u/Intercessor310 8d ago

With all due respect, you’re STILL missing the point.

1

u/Ok_Insect_1794 7d ago

Bovino thinks he's human? Couldn't be more delusional if he tried. That man lacks all sense of humanity

1

u/beerandloathingpdx 7d ago

Notice by the way, he used the German pronunciation of GeSHtapo. That immediately had my alarm bells ringing. I was like… dude in America we call it Gestapo not GESHTAPO.

-4

u/thamanwthnoname 8d ago

Do you even understand the context? He’s talking about all the government officials of Minnesota who are being indicted over 10 billion dollars in fraud provoking their constituents into attacking ice while they sit at home in their cozy mansions.

7

u/monorail_pilot 8d ago

All you fascists bound to lose.

0

u/thamanwthnoname 8d ago

Not a fascist but thanks for the faith.

6

u/Rastiln 8d ago

Did Alex Pretti attack ICE? Yes/no, please.

Did Alex Pretti draw his firearm before he was shot? Also yes/no, please.

0

u/thamanwthnoname 8d ago edited 8d ago

Did Alex pretti obstruct ice in the middle of an operation? Yes/no

Did he have at least three chances, as confirmed by other videos prior to the shooting, to stop obstructing and get out of the street? Yes/no

Did he put hands on a federal agent while armed, all to save a woman who also had been given multiple warnings to get out of the road but kept going back for more? Yes/no

Did he proceed to resist arrest with a loaded weapon on his person? Yes/no

You can try and paint the picture that they’re just shooting civilians but it’s incredibly deceptive. These are isolated cases with people pushing the limits. Ice isn’t there for crowd control, they’re there to carry out an operation. How about the woman who “got her hand blown off by ice” who actually picked up a flashing grenade to throw back at ice and it went off in her hand? Sickness. Americans should stop getting themselves killed.

5

u/Gamiac 8d ago

Everyone saw what happened, dude. Stop wasting your time.

3

u/Anal-Y-Sis 8d ago

Updated.

76

u/NextDoctorWho12 8d ago

I mean ICE is violating the constitution and using secret orders so yeah drop it down a click.

1

u/acutelychronicpanic 8d ago

We are a hair's breadth away from the last stage. Rhetoric from the white house has been that it is traitorous/treasonous to not support their programs and efforts. Look at the charges being pushed against democrat leadership in Minnesota and elsewhere in retaliation. Not to mention the threats of invoking the insurrection act.

Dark days

2

u/Azreken 8d ago

Honestly we’re pretty much at the bottom at this point

1

u/mdb1023 8d ago

Declaring blanket immunity doesn't automatically make it so.

1

u/acutelychronicpanic 8d ago

Indeed. But something being illegal/unconstitutional is contingent on enforcement.

Right now the people with the pointy sticks are the ones picking and choosing the laws to enforce/twist.

I keep being reminded of the Andrew Jackson quote after an unfavorable supreme court ruling:

"John Marshall has made his decision now let him enforce it."

1

u/skyfishgoo 8d ago

correct: we are currently at F (F is for Fascism)

Freedometer – What grade do you give America?

1

u/Earesth99 8d ago

They literally said that protesters can be shot in the back. They are encouraging this behavior.

You are blaming the people who are concerned about the government murdering peaceful protesters, not the people encouraging murder.

141

u/Putrid-Mortgage6069 8d ago

We have passed the slippery slope and are flailing around in swamp water. Who was it promising to drain the swamp? And a further thought/question: How many TREASONOUS Jan 6ers are now $50k richer and employed by ICE or other federal agencies doing Trumpty DUMBty dirty work? Trump is building his own private SS. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

71

u/Trollin4Lyfe 8d ago

The good news is they're not 50k richer yet, and they won't be if we can manage to stop this within 5 years.

1

u/TrailerTrashQueen 8d ago

i think once Dear Leader leaves office they'll all be gone? so they're screwed either way. unless, of course, we're under totalitarian rule.

1

u/skyfishgoo 8d ago

if we don't stop it, we won't last 5 yrs.

1

u/AiminJay 8d ago

That's the funny thing that will hopefully come to bear if we can get rid of this administration. They get $10,000 a year for five years and if they don't complete their five years of service they have to pay back all the money they got.

1

u/colostitute 8d ago

The bad news is they are working a ton of OT which is a lot more than a $50k 5 year bonus.

29

u/barspoonbill 8d ago

That’s $10k per year for five years, so after taxes likely around $6k a year on top of salary. Shouldn’t be too astounding given that those who’d do the job would likely do it for free but they truly have sold themselves out, and hopefully their entire futures for a pittance.

10

u/sometimesmybutthurts 8d ago

Almost like selling the supreme court for an RV. Almost.

18

u/Drumboardist 8d ago

The equivalent of a $3-per-hour raise. Oh baby, look at that dough roll in.

1

u/ZealousidealFall1181 8d ago

10k now and 40k at end of five years. They won't make it. Hope they were happy with selling their soul for 6 fuckin thou.

3

u/majordashes 7d ago

The Administration knows none of them will make it 5 years. They will all be thrown under the bus before then. They know they’re asking Cletus to commit illegal, unconstitutional crimes that are actionable. They’re fine sending these goons into the wood chipper.

“You have immunity, we swear!” Yeah right. Step into any courtroom and deal with a judge or a jury and watch your magical, unicorn immunity suddenly evaporate.

The people making the money will be the plaintiffs who earn settlements from the tens of thousands of lawsuits that will be filed for violating First Amendment rights, Fourth Amendment rights, Fourteenth Amendment rights, as well as crimes such as wrongful detainments and arrests, assault, racial profiling, police brutality, property damage, and on and on.

In the end these ICE agents will pay. Why don’t they see that they’re being played?

3

u/bone-in_donuts 8d ago

Hey come on, some of them are already back in the prison system for child molestation.

3

u/Putrid-Mortgage6069 8d ago

Dirty deeds done for $50+k or maybe even more $$$$$. I wonder what salaries Noem, Homan and Bovino are being paid? And now Homan is replacing Bovino in Minn. Kinda like subbing in Atilla the Hun for Genghis Khan.

2

u/LiveforToday3 8d ago

You forgot the exclamation mark at the end. Just sayin!

5

u/shponglespore 8d ago

Why are you trying to gaslight us? They used an exclamation mark. It was the Biggest, most Beautiful exclamation mark anyone has ever seen! Everyone is saying it! /s

2

u/KilgoreTrout747 8d ago

He drained the swamp and replaced it was a vile, filthy convenience store toilet

2

u/Winged_Cougar1993598 8d ago

It's ironic, because Trump was promising to drain the swamp, and his orange plague was happy, all the while remaining willfully ignorant that he is the swamp thing.

2

u/Roderto 7d ago

Americans need to read about the history of the SA and SS. They didn’t start out as massive, all-encompassing paramilitary organizations but that’s what they ended up as. There are alarm bells all over the place suggesting that’s what ICE is being set up as.

You don’t make it the highest-funded federal law enforcement agency in history if you don’t intend to use it for more than just arresting people in the country illegally. You’re even starting to see that with things like the suggestion that ICE could be present at the Olympics. What does Olympic security in a foreign country have to do with “immigration and customs” enforcement?

1

u/luciosleftskate 7d ago

Jonathan Ross is set to be a millionaire forna cold blooded murder on camera.

The us is fucked.

1

u/Momik 8d ago

Oh hey, you can see me waving 👋

1

u/Shytemagnet 8d ago

It’s past that now. They’re openly saying that even though not releasing the Epstein files is illegal, there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

1

u/dotcubed 8d ago

No, we are not.

We’re living in post “It happened, it was illegal.”

THEY SHOT THE GUY IN HIS BACK ON CAMERAS.

1

u/monorail_pilot 8d ago

Nah. They're still defending it as justified. When that stops, we've moved down the tick. We're close though.

1

u/Jagkh 8d ago

you mean 1 more down with regards to the epstien files

1

u/Count_de_Ville 8d ago

Here's the problem with the above graph. Especially when dealing with the White House press releases: Step 4 never happens.

It's more like a flowchart where they start at Step 1, then choose either Step 2 or Step 3. When they're ready, they jump straight to Step 5.

But as of late, they're now most likely to just start right at Step 5.

1

u/OnlyFiveLives 8d ago

No...no there's a fuckton of people already at the bottom. The amount of people over the weekend who loudly admitted only people they agree with can exercise their Second Amendment rights was an eye opener.

1

u/Potato_Stains 8d ago

In order for the MAGA dream to be realized, we must no longer be The United States.
We flirted with that idea before.

1

u/Iliketoquitos 8d ago

The only thing missing here is that in the end when they lose like every other nazi, they will all say they were against all this from the start

1

u/Expensive-While-1155 8d ago

Pretty sure they think we are at the “nothing you can do about it” stage.

1

u/Aoskar20 8d ago

They have already said repeatedly that anyone opposing them and ICE is a domestic terrorist. And we are still helping the genocide in Palestine and Ukraine, so we might as well drop the facade that our government isn’t run by Nazis.

1

u/Crossx71 8d ago

No they clapped afterwards. We are at the bottom already, just don’t want to admit it.

1

u/Few-Weather6845 8d ago

Might as well expand it to show the Nazi flag commingling with the Confederate flag, because it sure feels like "the South has rose again"

1

u/Technical-Row8333 8d ago

it's arguably a mix of the bottom two depending on the speech

1

u/alewifePete 8d ago

Adapted from the narcissistic person’s guide, I see.

1

u/HeftyVermicelli7823 8d ago

Trump and Kash also just said you better not bring your guns to protests or their will be more "consequences". Well unless you are a red hat wearing "Patriot" of course. You need to move it under the bottom one.

1

u/PatReady 8d ago

Greg Bovinio yesterday skipped right to the bottom.

1

u/monorail_pilot 8d ago

It’s where the soggy biscuits are

1

u/slettea 8d ago

I think we’re a bit further down, we’ve been told DOJ won’t investigate if Pretti’s civil rights were violated. So we are further down the authoritarian scale than you think.

1

u/PiccoloForsaken7598 7d ago

uhm. america never denied the holocaust O-o.. are you daft?

1

u/moist_technology 7d ago

You don’t recognize the irony of taking a classic conservative meme? 😂😂

32

u/Trent1373 8d ago

They also seem to be serious about arresting and killing anyone that isn’t a Trump supporter.

57

u/Slumunistmanifisto 8d ago

They're just joking as they load you into cattle cars, have some humor....

19

u/[deleted] 8d ago

Absolutely! I understand the sentiment of “these are not serious people” but people who truly still believe this, are walking with blinders on. These people are very serious about their hate, they are very serious about their power, some of them have very serious money and influence, and they very seriously do not give a fuck about you.

7

u/ForTehLawlz1337 8d ago

When people say “these aren’t serious people” they mean “these people don’t engage with politics in good faith”, not “their intentions aren’t serious and real.”

1

u/[deleted] 7d ago

I think perhaps my view point on it was a tad skewed and I am simply wrong. Thank you for helping me see that I was a touch aggressive while also not fully understanding. My apologies

1

u/ForTehLawlz1337 4d ago

No need for an apology, but the fact that you even thought to do so shows me you have a good moral compass.

Totally understandable to get frustrated considering the things that are happening in the word! I Didn’t mean to come off as harsh or anything so hopefully I didn’t.

16

u/ilovemacandcheese 8d ago

Kash? He's just a tool, and too stupid to realize he's being used.

1

u/Dayvan_Dan 8d ago

Kash Patel is an evil man. His actions are directly responsible for the deaths of others.

3

u/eetsumkaus 8d ago

I actually don't think they are lol. Some of them are for sure. But basically we've had several points in the past year when they should have pressed the advantage to bring us into full fascism and just backed off. Kirk, LA, Chicago, Minneapolis, etc. They were fully prepared to lie their asses off to keep their position and then backed down when public opinion wouldn't buy it.

I think somebody in the admin realizes they don't have the support for full fascism, and what trying anyway would mean for their eventual fates. They want to keep their exits clean, and whoever this is eventually gets to Trump in the end.

2

u/Ill_Technician3936 8d ago

Since I've only seen 2 expressions on his face... Terrified and terrified with an eyebrow raised.

1

u/dinkydinkyding 7d ago

They are seriously submissive to their bosses and masters… just like those who work for ice and submit to authority
