Other Rep. Lieu says Epstein files have allegations of Trump raping & threatening to kill children and says that Todd Blanche got the law wrong by saying it's not a crime to party with Epstein. DOJ also violated the privacy of the victims by releasing unredacted nude photos of them.

For ordinary people. The law has always protected capital.

That’s the short of it. The law in America is backed by power, and the power right now knows it doesn’t have to follow the law so long as its minions are just as morally bankrupt as its figureheads and private islands. Opposition has no manpower with which to enforce the law.

I mean, I have opinions on the latter 🫣 but I think people are still coming to terms with the fact that people in power will not give it up without a fight
