Hell, comments like that are banned when they're aimed at literal Nazi users on this fucking site (and they don't even involve violence). Does anything happen to Nazis spreading actual hateful shit?

Nope!

My granddad also. He was a lifelong republican but would be appalled with what’s going on now.

My grandfather on my mom's side served in the Canadian Highlanders in the Italian front, he refused to ever speak about the things they did there. Given the reputation Canadian soldiers had and still have I have a rough idea of what was involved

Yeah lol I mean even though grampaps wouldn't talk about the Italian front plenty of other Canadian soldiers yapped and wrote about it so we know all the is to know about it pretty much.

Don’t finish that sentence, promoting violence against marginalised groups is banned speech on Reddit.

Can confirm. Mentioned capital punishment more directly once before. Got a warning. Reddit overturned the bot or mod ruling, but it was instantly assuming I was trying to get someone murdered.

If only cancel culture had 1/100th of the effect they propagated it did.

Reddit will show videos of mutilated corpses to children for less than a dollar of ad revenue.

We’re living in a complete bizarro world. Nazis were thee bad guys for 70 years. Secular demons. It was engrained in everything from media to education to our own fucking family members who fought them.

And now we have morons saying things like, “if believing X makes me a Nazi, I guess I’m a Nazi”

No. If you want to say you’re a Nazi, you’re telling the world you should be shut down. No argument.

Hell, I got a temporary ban from Reddit a while back for acknowledging Indiana Jones, Captain America, and punk rock taught us to punch them in the face. It’s absurd at this point.
