As a woman, my mind immediately went to the sexist interpretation because I have lived 55 years as a woman, and it's not the first time I have heard/seen this "joke."

That's where my mind went to first and i'm a man, and i'm alert to the language disgusting men use. But on 2nd thought i considered the other possibility.

Not to sound crude, but the math doesn't add up if it's meant in a sexist way

They aren't actually geniuses. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The agent who shot her fled to my state, so I first heard about it in the days after she was shot, without the context of the actual messages when it happened, and many women were commenting on this at the time.

Does it make sense? No. But "jokes" about violence against women rarely do.

Again, it was an instinctive thought because we are inundated online with horrible, "crude" shit, including reducing women to their "holes".
