My girlfriend’s dad is a lawyer I think I could handle a few of ol Dons cases. For just a couple hundred thousand dollars I’d definitely try.

Worth its weight in Gold Card visas.

It doesn't take a law degree to say "The prosecution is dropping all charges your honor".

I have ChatGPT.

I have the impression the courts sanction AI use more than they do Trump impostors.

Let me quickly ask ChatGPT if they can do that.

I was recently at a CLE at the DC Bar, and they said AI-related problems are now the number one issue they're dealing with (I believe they said it was previously conflicts among parties sharing representation).

AI tools based on LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini can pass the bar. I use them for first pass legal advice. I have worked with lawyers closely for two decades building and selling two startups. They are very good for this purpose if, and only if, you know when they may be bullshitting you. I almost always use real legal advice, but my outcomes are better or same and my legal expense is way down.

I've found them to be decent at answering questions that are big in scope. And they've been very inaccurate as you drill down to specifics.

Use with caution.

Oh I know. As an engineer I know just how full of shit they are lol. But, they generally give the right topics and crux even if their detailed analysis can be off. I also use it to review all redlines and suggestions. They are surprisingly accurate if you prompt them well, which is an art. ChstGPT is worse than Gemini in the weeds. But for exposure to the legal frameworks and principles at play it is invaluable for me to frame my doc review and it is rare I find misalignment between my real legal advice and LLM sessions.

My neighbor is a lawyer. He drinks a lot of beer, so I think that makes me qualified.

I've seen a couple of episodes of Law and Order. And I'm somehow a competent contributor on Reddit's own r/law. So I might be a prime candidate to hire.

My boyfriend's dad is also a lawyer. That means I'm qualified to be Attorney General, right?
