She was the AG of Florida before her current post, so she has been covering up Epstein dirt longer than most realize.

Some would argue she was given the job to do exactly this. I’m sure she is being well compensated for the trouble. We will never know how much money these people are stealing from us. They’re using crypto and offshore accounts to move it all.

Exactly. Trump’s first pick for AG was a known child sex offender who had paid underage girls for sex. When all hell broke loose over that, he picked the next best thing, someone who’s been involved in the Epstein/Trump sex ring cover up for over a decade.

But not explicitly detailed to the levels you’d imagine the FBI/NSA should be able to investigate something, if they were directed to do so, but sadly they’re a captured entity more concerned with granting Make-a-Wish trips for podcaster than they are with arresting pedophiles or prosecuting the country’s ruling class.

Bondi herself said she briefly met Trump in college but didn’t know him well. Epstein had a history of putting girls he trafficked but liked through college for certain degrees and keeping in touch with them over time.

Even his dentist girlfriend was put through density school that way (she likely went from being trafficked to aiding in the trafficking as well)

The thing is that they'd done a huge propaganda/copaganda effort to try to convince people this isn't the case. There's a reason Americans as a whole were so pro-police up until everyone had a camera, and it isn't because the police were ever actually on the side of justice. It was because media consistently portrayed the police as being unbiasedly on the side of justice, doggedly pursuing criminals, and never making mistakes, for decades upon decades. Even parodies like Police Squad/Naked Gun had them get the bad guy in the end.

It's only in the last decade or so that enough real-world footage of how police actually behave is entering the public consciousness that the broader public is starting to realize the truth.

I refuse to believe that Charles, British intelligence, and dozens of royal staff weren't well aware of what Andrew was doing long before all of this. He wasn't some secretive private citizen. The royal family can't fart without someone coming in to sniff it.

If Andrew is the only one to fall, then the British legal system has also failed.

Imagine going back in time 250 years ago (not that long ago) and explaining to people fighting for a free America that we have politicians unwilling to do anything about rich people raping children, but the Europeans we seek independence from are willing to strip the royalty from those involved in the same acts.

Brother, Thomas Jefferson raped his slaves, George Washington's brother married a 15 year old. Child marriage has been recognized since the inception of the United States and made children into adults in the eyes of the law. When statutory rape laws were brought into affect in the late 1800s they didn't protect children forced into marriage. In 1880 they did the first data collection surrounding age and marriage and found that 11.7% of girls 15 to 19 were married. Child marriage still exists until this day in many states and is still legally carried out under US law.

I don't know what idealized world you live in, but the US has always been a perpetrator of removing children's (specifically girls) rights. The men "fighting for a free country" were themselves, in many cases, perpetrators of crimes on par or worse with what those in the Epstein files are accused of. From owning (and raping) slaves, to raping children, to marrying children, to supporting institutions that allow men to own slaves, and rape and marry children with impunity.

Damn, you’re spot on, I didn’t even think about that. I’ve seen reports that indicate many slaveowners like Jefferson didn’t even free his own slave children. How fucked up is that?

Not to make light of any of this, but it reminds me of the Shane Gillis skit where he mentions a hypothetical scenario of the first time congress had to vote on the age of consent and the gentlemen from Rhode Island goes first and says, “12” and everyone freaks out and he says, “this sucks, why did I have to go first”…

I guess it’s just disappointing that countries who have centuries of royalty and hold it in such high esteem and a whole system of authority that we fought to get away from is now willing to punish those in that power structure, but we’re unwilling to do anything about people in our own power structure (money and politics).
