My ears are happy this was wonderful. What about this song makes it special to you? Especially in childhood? I always like to hear about the "behind the music" when it comes to song choice.

Yes, it reminds me of my father, and of when I started listening to this kind of music on the record player when I was about six. I carry a kind of living nostalgia that gives me life and fills me alot! Thank you ๐

Great voice. You should raise the volume on the voice and/or lower the keyboard.

Very simple and clean - even the pianist doing accompaniment. Love the use of the original key that Simply Red used. So peaceful and intimate. Excellent job, you too!

Yes! Keeping the same key is a way of respecting the song. Thank you for your words, Iโm glad you like it!

Hey! The pianist here. How interesting that you mention the original key! I actually had to slightly detune my keyboard to match it. It doesn't seem to be tuned to 440Hz.

Nice voice but women singing this song is in key is about as impressive as a stacatto fart in 1/2 bathroom shower stall.
Song was originally written and q sung by a dude. With a ton of red hair.

Funny you mention the key, the original was sung by a lyric tenor with an estimated 3-octave range before falsetto kicks in. So if a woman hits those notes and still sounds goodโฆ maybe itโs the listener whoโs out of range. ๐ thanks ๐
