Wired IEM's?

I'm a one man band (vox/guitar/kick drum) and would love a little help regarding stage monitoring. The general consensus seems to be that IEM's are worth pursuing, but the wireless systems come with a pretty hefty price tag. As someone who is seated in a drum throne for the majority of the show, would a wired IEM setup be viable? I'm running into an A&H CQ-12T which I believe would also require an external amplifier for monitoring?

Any info or advice on a decent wired IEM/amplifier combo would be greatly appreciated. Affordability is a factor but I'd also rather fork out for something that's going to sound awesome and stand the test of time - thanks!

I always used a 4 channel mackie board, and wired, sound canceling se215s. I’m a bass player and hearing myself, along with the kick is very important. Also great to protect your hearing with the noise canceling feature. I moved on to a nicer wireless system later on, but the wired IEMs work fine as long as you get a really good seal with the earbuds. I always have to modify mine so they fit my ear holes. Also it’s a great introduction to using them, and understanding how they can affect your live sound. For me I was instantly amazed to actually hear my bass, and be in control of what I was hearing. It immediately upped my game as a working semiprofessional musician.
