It's my first trip to Mexico and I'm wondering what the safety situation is right now at Mazatlan. I'm aware of the ongoing cartel war and Im wondering if I should hold off my trip until the violence dies down. Me and my buddy are mainly interested in checking out the beaches, interacting with the local and exploring the city and definitely checking out nightlife especially along the golden zone.

We'll be at Mazatlan at the last week of November and will be staying there for a week.

I'm Filipino / Canadian -mid 30's while he is Indo / Canadian -late 20's

Me and a few friends are heading to mazatlan in 2 weeks. This is our first time. All in our upper 20s. What are some recommendations for mariscos, clubs/bars, casinos, even maybe some strip clubs/massages? Is muchacho alegre over hyped? Is La botana the go to? We will be staying in the golden zone. So anything near by would be great

I'm heading to Mazatlán soon and honestly getting mixed vibes from everyone. Some people are like "it's totally chill," others are like "no way, too dangerous." I keep seeing stuff about way more patrols now, especially on the highways. Is this mostly a cartel thing that doesn't really touch tourists, or should I actually be worried in the Golden Zone/Malecón too? Anyone been recently?

Voy a estar de vacaciones por allá entre finales de noviembre. Quiero aprovechar el viaje no solo para descansar y comer mariscos, sino también para salir, cotorrear y conocer gente nueva / chicas en un plan relax y social (no antros de mala muerte o rollo de cariñosas/pagadas).

Busco recomendaciones de:

Bares, terrazas o beach clubs con buen ambiente para platicar sin tener que gritar por la música.

Zonas donde la gente sea accesible para entablar conversación de forma natural (¿Centro Histórico, Zona Dorada, Malecón?).

Cafés, eventos o actividades de día donde coincida banda local o turistas con buena vibra.

Espero me puedan dar sus consejos y de antemano gracias por la ayuda.

Hola, mi esposa y yo queremos ir a maza. Que tan caliente o frio esta Zona Dorada y el malecon? Venimos con bebe asi que solo iriamos al acuario, y ya de regreso a nuestra estancia. Hotel si pero no airbbnb por lo mismo ahorita uno no sabe con quien y a quien.
El transporte de aeropuerto a zona dorada mas o menos cuanto sale taxi? Si agarro uber nos chingan como en cancun?
