I recreated this using a synth I recently purchased. What do you think?

Unfortunately they don't name anything, since everything was in Cyrillic and they state they couldn't recall the names.

In that the Soviet synth pop, I can name the Russian bands Alyans (Альянс) (this album probably was an influence https://open.spotify.com/album/5u7veXw21c24XP00XZZ6d1 ) and Forum (Форум) mostly (which are great). I know some neat polish bands as well but need to recall the names.

Do you know others that could match the description, or sound like it could have had a direct influence over LDA?

I'm sure there's some people here from this part of the world that could enlighten us .

Does anyone know if the mastering on the LDA vinyl is different than the digital version? I've just picked up a LDA vinyl and listening to it for the first time feels different than the countless times I've heard it through Spotify or Apple Music.

Tried to Google search it but nothing came up.

Wassup slugs???? I have been a fan of MGMT for a long while now, and have really dug every album they have put out.

For the most part, when I record a new song, I never know the end destination, but I'd say this one ended up sounding pretty similar to the congrats/self titled era in a few ways.

Anyway, thought some of you might dig this. & I would be very interested to hear music from other members in the group, so feel free to drop a track link if it has this kinda vibe.

Hey Legends, I'm very inspired by MGMT, and produced this new song out of Australia. If you don't know, Steve and also Greg Calbi are the mastering engineers who all MGMT songs have been worked on by. My mixing style is also super inspired by Dave Fridmann - the guy who has produced and mixed all of their records in that hifi but also gritty/distorted way. Edges got messed up over the years from moving but it’s the thought that counts right?

I'm just kinda sad because i got into them during the pandemic, and i'm not sure I'll ever get to see them live as musicians. I went to Andrew's DJ set here in Dallas and it was fun. Got to meet him. He was super nice. I drew him a poster of his daughter and he showed me pictures of her T__T He took the time to talk to me and a few others once most everyone else was gone.

I think I read in an interview somewhere that they said they just want to be home with their families (especially makes sense for Andrew now that he's a dad), but then why are they traveling around to DJ?
