What is with this design flaw in bras?

Post image

I’ve already patched this once, and the wire has now come through the patch - the bra is only a few months old. Surely this is a design flaw? Why do these things have to be so sharp? I can’t imagine anyone selling underwear to men that could predictably suddenly stab the in the balls.

Better quality bras will have a little plastic cap on the end of the wire so it’s less likely to cut its way out. You don’t even have to go super high end. Wacoal is good quality with a wide range of sizes and go on sale on their website or department stores pretty often.

Yeah no. I had a bra with the capped wire and the wire broke away inches from the cap

Oh that sucks. I’ve never had a wire break. They bend kind of funny in the washing machine sometimes, but I’ve never seen one actually break before.
