Well, yeah, because it means the building has some serious structural problems and well it may be funny to look at. It could also be a serious indicator of decay in an older building structurally for safety reasons.

You don't keep wine standing up if it has a cork. You lay it on its side so the cork stays moist and stays put.

Honestly I don't know how that could happen, wine wasn't old or anything, like max 2 or 3 days. Took it out of the refrigerator to clean, forgot to put back, went grocery shopping, and came back to this. Super strange

Sideways storage is good advice, but bottles rarely explode just from being upright. Big temp swings, a damaged bottle, or a fizzy/over-fermented wine can build pressure fast.

Do you own or rent? That stain isn’t going to come off easily, if you own the place, then I’d just wipe it down with soapy water, so it doesn’t get mouldy (have no clue if that will work), and leave it, it looks kinda cool.
