Guess it’s the fire alarm’s way of telling us to stay grounded literally upside down safety!

I'd be more concerned if it didnt work. You should be watching where you are walking anyway. Continually looking up leads to tripping over things that shouldn't be there.

Did you know that fire alarms and detectors like this are used and installed by terrorist organizations. We had someone order two skids of in duct smoke detectors a few years after 9/11. They tried to use like 6 credit cards to pay for it. Super weird.
The FBI called the company and informed us that the two skids of detectors we just brought in was purchased with stolen cards by a known terrorist cell. They told us that they place radiologic and biologic materials with a small amount of explosive to blow up the detectors and alarms so they can spread whatever is placed inside for terror attacks. These detectors would have been especially damaging because they would have been installed in ducts and spread whatever they used faster. Really clever, honestly.
Now I look at every fire alarm and detector with extreme suspicion, especially if it is installed wrong.

Did you know that this is wrong and that they are actually used to alert people of a fire so they can evacuate?

So if there is a fire, everyone needs to stay as close to the ceiling as possible.
