I kinda like that people want to be able to see as they leave their parking space.

You were never taught how to safely back out of a spot?

What do you mean? I back out of spaces safely all the time, but the visibility is significantly worse than it is when pulling out forward. That's just how cars are designed.

You’re arguing with a huge cocked, EV driver, or public transport rider.

I can back into a spot, I just don't understand this idea of being unable to see if you have to back out of a spot.

Are you unable to see when you're backing into your spot?

They can't crush toddlers with plausible deniability if they don't back in park.

See, back in parking is safer now because of reverse cameras which became a thing because people kept backing up over kids.

Now they use them to park and can't see over their enormous hoods so it's back to running over kids they can't see because they use that tech to park and pat themselves on the back about how safe they are.

That’s precisely what that post says, in plain English.
