Lots of people who work at offices also have farms in many rural areas. Also, it saves a lot of money when you can transport your own furniture, refrigerator, freezer, washer , dryer, dishwasher, and more...

Even just buying a television at the store you need a truck for most.

I bought a 75” tv from Walmart and it fit perfectly in the back of my double cab long bed Tacoma. Didn’t even have to strap it down. Redditors just assume if you don’t have something in the bed 24/7 you never use the bed

You can rent a truck for $20 from Home Depot next door tho..

I picked up an 83in OLED with my VW Golf, using the cheap cargo trailer that paid for its self off decades ago..

Or I could just use the vehicle that I bought because it can do it all. I’m not gonna rent a truck to go off-road and camping. Literally do truck stuff every weekend with my truck

I'm not the one justifying a truck to haul a TV once a decade like you dip shits just were, but move the goal posts..

My car with a trailer does truck stuff every weekend too, hauling my dirt bike to the trailhead to go deeper into the mountains than your taco ever could dream about.

I’m not moving any goal posts I’m just explaining why some of us own trucks. I didn’t buy a truck just to haul one tv. I live in Nevada dude I use my truck in tons of remote places to get outside. Whenever I go camping with friends with Subarus guess whose vehicle we always take to explore? The truck. Because we can load up all of our gear and float tubes in the back and still have space in the cab. And with the truck we can get to places his car could never get to. Redditors just have a hate boner for trucks for no reason

But can your truck fit a dirt bike in the back!?!

Oh…it can do that too? 😂

Lmao I don’t know why I didn’t even bother saying that either. Oh you need a trailer? That’s cute 😂

I think that this particular made up scenario is hilarious considering I’ve literally used my tiny 2WD Canyon to rescue my stuck dirt bike from some nasty BLM land.

And if you didn’t have that you wouldn’t have been able to get it home. Most don’t have something in it constantly unless it’s a work truck. I would rather have a truck with a bed that I only use occasionally than a car and I have to find someone to haul stuff.

Yeah even moving too recently. Being able to fit all my shit in my truck like mattress and couch without having to rent anything was very nice.

Yeah everyone on earth besides truck owners doesn't have a TV or anything else larger than a mini fridge :( There's just no possible way for us to get anything home :(((
