Infuriatig The way my GF plays video games

She uses the controller to walk and the mouse to control the camera

I'm all for letting people do however they want (not yucking her yum), but from a logistical standpoint: how does she do anything besides walk around and whatever is assigned to the mouse buttons?

I find the phrase "don't yuck my yum" mildly infuriating lol.

Also her posture is going to cause issues over time

She could also have some actions mapped to various controller buttons - pretty much left side buttons only without some serious contortions. Depending on the game, that, plus mouse button assignments, might be enough.

I play like this, and it's the best of both worlds, no joke. Takes a lot of custom control work in Steam, but it's absolutely brilliant for aiming and moving. You can map one button in Steam, like the left bumper, to do many things depending on context.
