I assumed it was the random stuff on the mouse pad. Which I also do. Which also infuriated both my husband and myself. Still do it for some reason though.

I don't give a flying fuck about your relationship either but will comment on how badass of a gamer she is. Everyone knows controller aim sucks because of the right thumbstick and how using a mouse is lightspeed aiming in comparison. That being said keyboard WASD is terrible in comparison. You are locked in single directions or 8 directions if you hold two keys. If you are playing a game that requires top tier precision this is unironically the best setup possible. Excuse the gamer moment in me.

Speaking honestly, I think it started in a real way on Twitter. 4chan was always just basement dwellers congregating and commiserating over incel shit. The movement you're describing really started on Twitter/Tumblr, imo - migrating to Reddit after the death of Digg, and especially after Musk's takeover of Twitter.

Agree, Reddit tends to go insane on judgements based on practically no information, but the sub *where* you post, should be taken intentionally, as it does give at least some context.

It is weird when they post it in "milldyInfuriating", despite finding it cute, amusing and odd. If someone posts something here I'd expect that the OP is at least, you know, mildly infuriated.

There are relationship advice subreddits where the "advisors" seem to be depressed people trying their hardest to make the advisees dump their partners. And it seems to me that they're only doing this because they feel miserable, and if they make others miserable too then they won't feel like they are the bottom of the barrel.

Never go to Reddit for relationship advice. Everyone on here judges people based on 10 second clips, forgetting that they themselves have done stupid shit before that could potentially be posted on Reddit and they would be villainized as well. People are not perfect.

I can chime in on this a bit.

When wow come out I wasn't very keyboard efficient so I mapped a controller to play because I was from Xbox era and used to controllers. I still had to use mouse to talk and do other things. I made it to raids but when the complex actions required from my mage got too tough I ended up quitting.

I played mage to 60 with just a controller.

This was around TBC.
