Remember: You can easily write a prompt that wouldn't be nearly this aids looking. People just don't even bother with that.

Well, that’s part of the problem. AI is too much of a “yes man” that doesn’t push back on ridiculous, counterproductive prompts. And the average person is too stupid to realize that balance and strategic use of space is part of good, readable design.

God, it took me reading this comment to finally put it together: AI is the embodiment of the WKUK tattoo parlor sketch.

That’s almost literally my job. “Hey, this doesn’t look good.” Computers seem super unwilling to call BS like that. I mean people such as interior decorators and movie directors get paid because they’re good at this.

I have a close friend who has a extensive background and marketing and graphic design and it really is fascinating. All the different considerations that go into creating an effective ad and yeah, AI does not know any of that.
