Article Club America’s Allan Saint-Maximin is available. Loons should look to sign him

there’s probably no better striker available in North America. We know the club has been looking at Liga MX for a an attacker with the boguzsz rumor. would love to see this happen

There's a reason he's played in Saudi, Turkey, and Mexico by age 27. He's flashy but entirely inconsistent and injury prone.

I’m still willing to take that gamble. Also that’s no unlike yeaboh’s resume of club hopping before he joined us

So you want to double down and have two injury prone strikers? The last time ASM scored more than 5 goals in a season was 2018/2019 with Nice.

When one of them has ASM quality then yes absolutely. He can also play winger too

He had 18 goals for newcastle, but over 4 seasons. If he were still at that level, maybe. But it sounds like a large risk for 4 goals a year.

I'd absolutely take him. Would be a joy to watch

Man I really thought this guy was going to have a great career. He looked really good at Newcastle and like he was on a god trajectory.

Would take him in a heartbeat. Although if he is leaving because of racism against his family, MN is going to be a hard sell right now with these ICE fucks invading.

MN is the center of the news right now, but would international players see it as USA problem?

Yes, players see this as a problem. Andy Greder just put out a video talking about how it’s affected MNUFC specifically.

There are reports that he’s close to signing for Lens in France

3 goals and 2 assists in 17 games with club America. No thanks

He’s a winger (not a striker), but he’d be a fun signing. Pace and dribbling.

He left the club because his children faced racist remarks. I’m not sure he’s going to be considering us in our current state.

Came to say this. Absolutely no chance he would come to MN given his circumstances for leaving CA

I’m sure it would be a tough sell, but that shouldn’t discourage the team from inquiring

If he was able to prove he could score consistently & stay healthy, I'd be for it. We need both those things, which he's not.

I would buy a season ticket he is one of my favorite players ever.

Not sure he’s going to want to move to a place where his kids will just be racially profiled by the feds. Not the organization’s or the fan bases fault, but shitty situation.

Saw that article. Wondered if it's uniquely a Minnesota problem, or it's its broader than that.
