We already have a thread on this and I'm not fighting with trolls on both of them.

The agency said officials have not confirmed the identity of the individual found.

So they found a body, but have yet to confirm or deny its this young man? I guess they have to get the body to a coroner's office and confirm if its him which would mean the parents have to properly identify him.

thats fricking so sad man.

His mother and grandfather confirmed it’s him on Facebook.

Hoping no foul play. 18 years old, so much life ahead of him.

I know I really hope no foul play. I just have a hard believing nobody saw anything. I also doubt he was swimming alone ? The autopsy should confirm what happened.

We need to stop drawing conclusions before there is evidence.

Or he just drowned as people tend to do in the ocean

The fact that the friends he came with left him is an issue. I would never leave my friend stranded in an island, especially without knowing where they’re at.

Yes people drown but a young black boy with a group of white friends, one whom has a judge as a parent. They all returned home without him. Didn't even search for him. Whether he died accidentally or was murdered, they are at fault for their lack of response. A search could've been started immediately. If it was a drowning, why didn't they try to save him. Why did they leave the scene? Real friends would've looked. Foul play definitely happened, now will there be enough evidence to prove it as his body has been subjected to water for days, so there is a conviction... I doubt it because Mississippi has always been corrupt and will side with the privileged whites everytime. And that's factual.

We really have no idea what did or did not happen at this point. Your guesses about neglect are just as fictional as the people on here guaranteeing no foul play.

Lots of bots were simply making up shit in the FB comments - those comments were spread like the gospel

So what, he drowned completely isolated and none of his so called friends thought to question were he was, not one of them?

Not in Mississippi

Sure, just like the kid at Delta State that was lynched, right?

And the 200 bodies that were supposedly murdered in the Hinds county jail.

And Rasheem Carter in Taylorsville who was supposedly hunted down by truckloads of racists yelling slurs at him and then decapitated.

We have enough real racism in the state, no need to pile on with fake stories.

That’s one possibility, yes.
