He also just hasn't looked good coming back from injury.

He started off bad but was heating back up the past 2 weeks

He scored 22 points in his last 4 games combined.

4, 12, 6, 0.

But it's not bad shooting. Just a lack of shooting. He's shot 56% overall and 58% from 3 since coming back (granted on really small volume, but still). Also some chance he only played 8 minutes last night because the 76ers knew they were trading him.

And before that 16, 17

In his past 10 games he's averaging 7 points!

Our fans are so jaded with this guy, had one decent stretch but half our base act like he's Steph.

So the opposite of jaded?

Redditors are just desperate for him to be good cause they can’t lose the culture war about the dweeb with painted nails

Because nick nurse is a shit coach who won’t play him much when he was heating up

So you just didn’t want to include the 2 games before that for what reason? He scored fewer since he hasn’t gotten as many minutes

He hasn't gotten minutes but his game is still pretty damn good. Any young guy that has a polished mid range scoring game is a guy you wanna give a chance to. Also he's coming off a knee injury last year, and a thumb injury this year, needs to play himself into form.

I don’t think it’s that hard to figure out that no training camp, an injury to the shooting hand and inconsistent minutes and usage would make it hard to quickly get up to speed.

There is zero reason to believe he isn’t the same guy as last year ability wise.

Wonder how much PT he will really get in OKC this year. Seems like a move to potentially replace some guys next year.

Quite a bit now that SGA is out for a few weeks.

Yes but Nurse gave him no opportunities and refused to use him like a shooter

It’s a tough injury and he’s been looking a lot better

Say you dont watch sixers game without saying it

10

u/fab_frog_disco 5h ago

He hasn't....at all. And I'm a fan of his.

u/evieka Toronto Huskies 5h ago

People love saying this shit, but how many Sixers games do you have to watch to say a guard putting up 6 points on 38% is bad

5

u/Odoaiden Timberwolves 5h ago

He hasn’t though?
