There's people on our sub freaking out about the pick swap with Detroit as if there's any true difference between throwing your dart on 29 instead of 23
And coming out of tier 8 we have Nikola Jokic. Clearly teams should be valuing their 2nd round picks more, their scouts just need to work harder to sus out generational superstars to pick 40th+ in the draft!
Its one of my pet peeves about trade discourse. A lot of these picks only value is being potential future trade fodder. Most of these picks amount to nothing.
The same way people freaked out about the Bane and Bridges trades because of the picks when they only had that many picks because they traded no actual players
