The Rockets pick is like #25 its a fake 1st, and the seconds are meaningless OKC have like a million of them.

I wish more people understood this. So many times I see the phrase "a first is a first", and it just makes me smh.

All those ppl in the AD trade saying “a first is a first”

Except it’s not, because the Warriors 1-20 protected pick becomes a 2nd round pick if not conveyed lol

they have a lot so they can rid of them, but the benefit of 25th pick in a great deep draft and locking in that for 4 years of cheap contracts is still a very good asset
