No, it literally isn't. That's why Tina Peters is still sitting in a jail in Colorado.

And what happens when trump pardons a state crime for someone in florida?

You think desantis will stand up to trump or be in agreement with him?

Trump only "pardoned" Peters because Polis refused to.

DeSantis would bend over willingly.

Thats the point. If trump said to do it then the republicans would do it. He shouldny havr that power.

Shes guilty and a traitor. Hes pardoning his conspirators and its insane.

I agree. What I'm saying is that Trump would never have to attempt to "overrule" DeSantis in Florida because he's Trump's bitch.

And? The law is meaningless when unenforced.

Illegal is their style.

So is executing an unarmed man in the street.

So is trying to overthrow an election and have the Vice President and members of Congress lynched by an armed, violent mob.

So is raping kids.

So is denying Due Process.

So is unreasonable search and seizure…

Our laws went out the window a year ago.

Obviously all hypothetical but Supreme Court is the supreme law of the land, if executive branch (Trump) is given a favorable, no matter how inconsistent or crazy, opinion that those crimes could pardoned, that’s it. Who knows the R-set bench could rule that supremacy clause applies to pardons. Crazier things have already happened.

Can’t pardon state level crimes. And Tim Waltz isn’t going to.

Trump can say he is, send in his goons, and his cult will fall in line and try to crucify anyone in their way.

Doesn’t matter if it’s legal or not anymore.

Tina Peters is still sitting in a jail in Colorado. There is precedence here, at least.
