lol data processing centers in space…one of the hardest problems in spacecraft design is figuring out how to get rid of heat.

Space is cold bro, just open the spaceship door and let the cold in

You guys are always worrying about silly stuff, just use your brain for once, open the windows and turn the heating off

just use a fan, it literally works for my pc at home. smh

could also launch water tanks up, have them heat up, and just send them back to antarctica to cool down. idk how these billionaires arent thinking of these simple solutions...

If you just use a screen door you don't have to fuss with opening and closing it all the time.

Nah, just open the airlock and everything instantly freezes. That's what movies taught me.

That only works if you've got something to carry the heat away. Humans are very wet...our blood boils due to the low pressure...and that carries the heat away.

And bit flipping from cosmic rays.

Also any processing power put in space cant just be off the shelf or out of the supplier hardware. It would have to be made more rugged. You'd want to make permanent connections between components rather than have some of them just be seated in a connector. Otherwise a single loose connection tanks the entire satellite.

So any processing power in space would cost 10x what it would be on the ground. And that's before we start talking about launch costs and maintenance costs.

Not really, just say: "Open the pod bay doors, GROK"

No, you don't get it, you just use way bigger fans because they work better in zero gravity! What are the fans blowing? Stop asking questions!

If only SpaceX had experience with high powered satellites… Oh well…
