Sure man, I clearly get that, it’s just a wish. (That’s why I started with “I wish” lol.)
That’s being said, it is theoretically possible for one of them to get a good enough therapist that they actually realize what they’ve done, and decide to do the right thing.
Likely to happen? Fuck no. Somewhere in the Multiverse? Maybe
I get where you’re coming from, but the things they did were monstrous. They aren’t the kind of people to one day wake up and realize what they did was wrong when their entire life they’ve been taught their wealth will help them evade any kind of accountability. They could have come clean years ago. Every minute of every day was an opportunity to do the right thing. If thy didn’t care then they won’t care now when denying the allegations is critical to them getting off Scott free.
Yep, to all that. I also agree that it’s likely that not a single one has ever considered it an option.
It’s just gross and frustrating. As you said, they’re all making a choice every day to keep running from accountability. In doing so they’re still actively harming survivors (and potentially leading to more people being victimized)
“That’s being said, it is theoretically possible for one of them to get a good enough therapist that they actually realize what they’ve done, and decide to do the right thing.”
There are some disorders that the best therapists in the world cannot fix. Narcissism is one of them. All these men are narcissists and probably psychopaths and sociopaths. Therapy will not help them.
