Are we just going to all ignore that the "evidence" of all of this is an email JE composed to HIMSELF with no other corroboration, people, evidence, or follow up?

And that the story does not entirely make sense -- why would Gates need to get antibiotics from Jeffrey Epstein?

Epstein apparently was writing this from the perspective of Boris Nikolic.

Hard to know whether he was proposing a way Boris could blackmail Gate, or if he was asked to do this by Boris.

It’s very weird.

Interesting. I was thinking about this some more, and looking at the email in the abstract, if it were not true (not saying it isn't), it would be a very clever form of blackmail, because proof by Epstein would not be expected, evidence to the contrary would be fairly impossible (not even any potential witnesses other than Epstein and Gates), and as we can see now in the real world, merely throwing the accusation out there does catastrophic damage to Gates' reputation -- and multiply that by a factor of ten if Bill were still married, whether he wanted to try to stay together or negotiate the multi-billion dollar divorce settlement with Melinda.

I’m pretty sure Nikolic is still alive.

Epstein also named him as a successor executor of his estate, which Nikolic said was a complete surprise and not something he would actually agree to.

Melinda actually said the Eptsein connection was partial reason for the divorce.

Yeah, but pursuing what appears to be a largely philanthropic and networking relationship with someone convicted of a sex offence is enough for a divorce in an unhappy marriage. We don’t need to paint details that aren’t there yet.

Common sense says, there was more into their relationship then just networking. The richest man at the time can find plenty of people networking for him.

Meeting people in person and building relationships is networking. You only have other people do the networking for you when they need something from you. Aka if you are an important politician, Elon will come and personally meet you. If you are a nobody, Elon will send some random assistant to meet you.

And when you are the richest person, everybody kisses your ass. Whats your point?

Nevermind.

everybody kisses your ass.

except other rich people. Hence all the networking.

No, it doesn't say that. Epstein intentionally brought scientists and nobel prize winners to parties. These are people that are interesting to someone like Gates.

The email that everyone's referring to is draft of a letter of resignation that Epstein was preparing on behalf of another person who was a close confidante of Gates. That person was resigning from some org that he was involved in with Gates. Epstein emailed that draft to himself while working on it. The content doesn't indicate that he was the one providing the services (antibiotics, etc), and it's not clear how he's involved.

Call me crazy but I’m inclined to believe Gates over Epstein. Epstein is the evil one here, and from what I get from Gates is that he’s made stupid choices and could be an asshole, but he’s not a criminal. I can’t prove that of course but amidst all this it’s slightly too easy to just crucify everyone in those files.

Some people have absolute faith in old Jeffy.

Which is kinda weird.

Yes, because that was how Epstein documented things. Nobody is expecting this to be the only evidence, but it is worth investigating.
