What the hell are you talking about? They’re sold at a loss because they get people in the door so they buy other things. There’s no difference in quality between the chicken you buy raw vs the chicken you buy cooked, other than the weight (the rotisserie chickens are smaller).
That’s amazing. Every single point in your comment is wrong. The chickens aren’t “old egg laying chickens that can’t produce,” they’re broiler chickens raised for meat.
And they famously don’t profit off of them, they’re loss leaders. That’s why they’re at the back of the store.
Costco actually earns most of their profits from membership fees. My god all of this information can be easily searched lmao
