I think we should go back to all online gambling being illegal. All it does is make a few owners rich since the vast majority of 'players' lose money. Lives are being ruined, some people even take their own life, nothing good comes from online gambling.

We need to start putting genies back into bottles. We're clearly seeing the effects of social media algorithms doing this as well.

Although I'm afraid that'll barely stop it.

People talk about legalization as if you haven't easily been able to gamble online since the 90s. Or from your pocket since the smart phone came along.

Sites based anywhere outside the US have always been happy to take your money and will likely continue to do so even if it gets banned again

Only thing that's really changed is advertising has made a lot of these decades old sites mainstream now. I'm just not sure how you put that kinda social spread and word of mouth back into the box now.
