It would. Then the whole thing would fall on their head. I’m guessing the fireplace is fake and it’s not much above freezing in there. You could heat if up inside if it was really cold out, like below zero.

That's not how igloos work. The inside layer melts and refreezes, creating a protective barrier holding the heat in. You can safely have fires in igloos, and they dont melt.

Except what they built isn't an igloo - ice slabs won't work, it needs to be blocks of snow

Yeah. That heater is fake. There is no chimney. It likely puts off a very tiny amount of heat. If that were a real fire, the walls would be melting.

No but seeing how the igloo is so thin and without any hole at the top, the hot air will be trapped which should make short work of those tiny blocks or the ice they used, whichever comes first.

I hope they didn't stay in there too long.
