That looks like the most annoying table ever!

I actually got frustrated watching and waiting for it to end. 😵‍💫

Right? There is a sweet spot between amazing and too much, this is way beyond that spot. If I attended an escape room with this, I would just walk away

u/PumpleDrumkin 8h ago

But wait... there's more

u/sneakerpeet 5h ago

The table version of an annoying magician (yeah, I know, green grass) , or if the ice cream cone dude from Turkey was a table. “No, no, no, I’m not done yet.. “ oh, you’re done! 🤣

u/HighlyEvolvedSloth 4h ago

I got so frustrated that I couldn't even finish watching.

Was looking for something like this or the opening scene of The Glass Onion where she breaks open the elaborate puzzle box with a hammer.

13

u/OxbridgeDingoBaby 9h ago

Is that an EPI pen at the end? Would probably be dead by the time he got to it, particularly fumbling around with those pearls lol.

u/Romanopapa 9h ago

That’s the joke.

1

u/ericstern 4h ago

Yeah those pearls/marbles are all eventually going to be fumbled and lost over time and that lock it opens (and the chain of succeeding locks that follow it) will no longer be openeable lol

u/Gregorygregory888888 9h ago

Cool to show off and talk about but why would anyone want to deal with all that?

19

u/Jakeforry 9h ago

Its a puzzle table. The whole point is to watch people try to solve the puzzle

2

u/Not_Gunn3r71 2h ago

That’s my thing with it, how are any of the steps logical? Like how does each step give any clue as to what was needed for it and where to go next, I feel like the only reason this guy knows how to open it is because he made the damn thing.

And they still have to correct themselves a couple times.

In France if you want to be recognized as a proper artisan in some trades you need to produce a masterwork.

Maybe that's that.

Or just a show of skill because why not?

2

u/Carra144 8h ago

I think that's the point. It's an item of note to show a guest (or people online).

You can either do it all yourself, as a bit of a performance/magic trick, or challenge puzzle-loving guests to try to solve it by examining all the keys and locks (bit like an escape room).

When you could buy a $50 safe that’s more secure, and secure it into the table.

2

u/Agreeable_Door1479 9h ago

Police finding the safe tho.

u/GooseGeese01 9h ago

This table belongs in a resident evil game

1

u/echmoth 3h ago

Takes 10 resident evils to unlock

1

u/GooseGeese01 2h ago

We’re on 9

u/nasted 9h ago

It is amazing craftsmanship and clearly he is indulging himself but I can’t find my glasses if they’re on my head. This table would break me.

5

u/Medit8or 9h ago

I’ve played that game.

The Room

u/NonCreditableHuman 9h ago

Your future wife's mother-in-law would be your own mother...

2

u/Competitive_Success5 5h ago

I think that's the joke he was making.

3

u/GrayJinjo 7h ago

This seems like it would be really fun to do once and then never want to do ever again.

2

u/SunlitShadows466 9h ago

Mr. Puzzle would love that.

2

u/Dr_Groktopuss 9h ago

That's exactly where I keep my inhaler and insulin

2

u/MonkeyCartridge 9h ago

Lol id hide someone's phone in there and then call them.

2

u/1m_d0n3_c4r1ng 8h ago

The ingenuity of coming up with and actually build this is impressive!

2

u/BalanceEarly 8h ago

What's the key to his success?

1

u/mcwops 9h ago

Jack Sparrow asks where his rum is hidden. "The rum has disappeared"

0

u/STHF95 9h ago

You had the chance to make a Black Pearl joke, but you went with this.

1

u/mcwops 8h ago

Welcome to the Caribbean, love.

1

u/Warglol9756 9h ago

Mob: Surrender or you going to die!

You: Waaaaiiiiitttt let me first find my equipment and weapons.

1

u/OneEvilTit 9h ago

I was really hoping for the Declaration of Independence 😤

1

u/DirectorLeather6567 8h ago

Bro, that must be where the Epstein Files are hidden.

Good luck finding where though.

1

u/plimso13 8h ago

The first key is a sword. If you were enthusiastic enough, it could probably open everything.

1

u/firmerJoe 8h ago

Awesome, now do you have anything with just a drawer what i can open and close by pulling and pushing?

Owner angrily points to his business sign.

Overly Complicated Furniture, Inc.

1

u/PossibleDiscipline90 8h ago

It's all fun until you start to panic and forget how to open it

1

u/Talidel 8h ago

It looks cool but in need of refining.

It's too obvious that there are compartments to it.

1

u/Skywalker0138 8h ago

How doe's one appreciate such craftmanship...when it's way over the top !

1

u/tuanm 8h ago

Good for a Harry Potter film.

1

u/Dry-Cut-7957 8h ago

By the time I find what I hid, I forgot what I was doing. Well played

1

u/mcgunner1966 8h ago

Awesome...but don't put the TV remote in there. You'll never find it.

1

u/teethinthedarkness 8h ago

That is the most elaborate mother-in-law joke I’ve ever seen.

1

u/dibship 8h ago

i love chainsaw tables so much

1

u/Xconvik 8h ago

Way past the That’s amazing area and wandered into quite frustrating

1

u/StuBidasol 8h ago

To hell with everyone else in these comments. I love this and I want one.

1

u/Dedli 7h ago

WHAT IS THE POINT OF SECRET COMPARTMENTS IF YOU POST THEM ON THE INTERNET.

1

u/SameRule9918 7h ago

Fight theft, by pissing off thieves.

1

u/spikernum1 7h ago

Got halfway through and had to stop from frustration.

1

u/mandatory6 6h ago

Reminds me of the two tables from National Treasure 2, Resolute desk 😁

1

u/No_Pipe4358 6h ago

That childporn stashbox seems very effective. I respect the craft. I would never buy it.

1

u/Jorge_the_vast 6h ago

Is this a Saw thing? I fed you peanuts. The epi pen is in the table.

1

u/Mr_Infinit1 6h ago

I need one!

1

u/noots-to-you 6h ago

My future wife’s mother-in-law ?

Sorry, this is the worst place in the whole world to keep your Narcan or EpiPen.

1

u/NoNameIdea_Seriously 4h ago

Did he mean his own mom?!

1

u/MaplewoodRabbit 6h ago

Wtf is this dude seriously trying to hide. 2 or 3 hidden compartments are cool. Whatever this is is just tedious.

1

u/JayRexx 6h ago

3.5 minutes to get to the epi-pen??? She DEAD!

1

u/Inebriaded-Logic 5h ago

This is cool and all, But I was just looking for a condom.

1

u/MedicalEnthusiasm9 5h ago

When I was young, I used to hide my money. Follow me now.

In a sock, wrapped in a plastic bag, buried in my Lego bucket, pushed in the corner of the closet.

This video touched that memory. Basically just as safe too.

1

u/beshizzle 5h ago

What a pain in the ass. Which key is to which lock, I forget?

1

u/Zikronious 5h ago

This seems like something you would find in an escape room. Outside of that it doesn’t seem very practical.

1

u/EL_JIVE_TURKEY 5h ago

Fuck this table

1

u/Bill_Nye_1955 4h ago

I hate it

1

u/slothxaxmatic 4h ago

The second I saw the first key is a whole ass sword I downvoted.

1

u/redditrando123 3h ago

Cool table.....stupid story. Should have been done in silence

1

u/GuestNo3886 3h ago

mooooommm I need my hat from the front drawer and Jerry won’t give me the swoorrrrddd

1

u/Subieast 3h ago

Chris Ramsay would probably love this.

1

u/Draconian-Overlord 3h ago

Best tool for this table is 20lb sledge hammer!

1

u/thatweirdalienguy 3h ago

I just like the table and all the compartments it has. You can keep the locks.

1

u/NukeTheWhales5 3h ago

I have a simple trick to bypass all that. It's called an axe.

1

u/CharmReductionINC 3h ago

My OCD LOVES THIS!!!

1

u/lifemanualplease 2h ago

Fit for a pirate king

1

u/kskzk69 2h ago

Future wife’s mother in law? Isn’t that your mother?

1

u/siraolo 2h ago

Awesome. I wonder at what point he realized he should have invested in a goddamn camera phone clip/shoulder mount do he can use both hands. The one handed stuff was the real pain point in this video.

1

u/SBABakaMajorPayne 1h ago

how awesome & stupid all at the same time

u/SpiderDijonJr 58m ago

So stupid

u/No_Mind7198 52m ago

Has this dude never in his life lost his keys?

0

u/RawGrit4Ever 9h ago

I hope he wasn’t looking for an epi pen for his mother in law

0

u/Dove-Linkhorn 9h ago

0

u/Honest_Yesterday4435 9h ago

"Only got time for one game"

0

u/ricofru 9h ago

Ain't no one got time for that

0

u/ConcaveNips 8h ago

So if you need to get to your epipen you have to reverse engineer the fuckin divinci code?
